I observe that some sexual expressions in marriage are perverted outside of marriage to the extreme. It makes me guilty for what we do in marriage although that is because of the mess they make of it, the porn and everything. I like the way you show sexual expressions are not necessarily to have children. Our children are grown up and my wife cannot have children anymore. There are lots of christians going around forbidding certain acts in marriage where the bible says nothing about it. A lot of Catholics say that you should only have sex to have children. It’s true that sex is a beautiful gift to married people, but it should NOT be the foundation of making a marriage thrive. God is. We must seek Him and His heart on this. Both parties should practice good hygiene, washing reguarly and also after the act.
Anal sex is harmful to the body, sex toys and porn should be avoided. But there is also balance, some think sex is dirty due to their past ungodly lifestyles. Family planning is fine and wise. However I would recommend natural methods, tracking the cycle and barrier methods. Chemical contraceptives are harmful to a woman's health and abortifacient.
Sex in marriage and worship, I have heard this in a sermon before. It is about the original language used. When a man was unmarried it said so and so "lay" with so and so. When they were married it spoke of "knowing" and "intimacy". There is a message called "Sanctified Sexuality" by Bishop Brian Keith Williams that explains more about this.
Those who see sex as sinful in marriage with strict rules etc, they should stay single. The men that want to impose the missionary only position where they only benefit- you are using your wife as a masturbation tool Sir, stop it! Those wives and husbands who want to abstain without conversation- you are not pleasing the Lord. Repent! There will be periods to abstain: Fasting, illness etc. However everything should be communicated.
Let the Holy Spirit lead you as a couple in all things.
