Have you made a serious error? Spiders have been astounding researchers with feats of intellect. They make informed choices, for which type of silk to spin depending on requirement. They use various organs to produce different silks. Can we confidently assert that we aren’t adversely affecting how those glands work during silk creation? Is it possible they are modulating components of the silk blend as it is formed, perhaps even ratios of the amino acids? Can you guarantee that pulling the silk from an unconscious spider does not produce inferior silk?

I had an old friend from high school he told me when he joined the marines they were conducting experiments on this bc they knew spider silk was super strong.....it was 2020 something tho when he told me, spider man was been out my only thought now now that i actually think about it is why it took them so long to look into this?
