After a bit of investigation and research (aka Googling and reddit), Samy was deported back to Israel (his home country) under the suspicion that the restaurant is a money laundering scheme (ig Pewds was kind of right about them being a underworld criminal), so they are now divorced and it could've been a green-card marriage where Samy needed the citizenship and Amy needed someone to invest/fund the restaurant.
