Does it work on Barracudas, Sharks, Alligators etcetera? Because Barracudas will look at you after they've been shot And say Was that supposed to hurt me Mudder Fugguh😅😅😅😅
@xolarwind Says:
To shoot at that distance a hand spear slingshot is enough! LOL
@OscarDiaz-om6zv Says:
In a pool..? Really I would like to see it how they work in a real situation which is not exactly at 2” depth.. Perhaps at 40” deep and in a murky water or with poor visibility…. Definitely u cannot use it for spearfishing…bc fishes don’t die instantly unless it’s shot in the head. Very possible if any fish is not shot behind the head it will swim away

@slingshotchannel I am buying your product after watching this video.The MK2 looks like it needs some spearfishing modifications, but it is insanely powerful. What thread is on the Mk2 tip and arrow? How many grams is recommended for a spearfishing tip ? Is there a retrieving line setup/reel? This product has a ton of potential. Congratulations on a great product! Feel free to reach out

How about a revolving PCP shotgun or arrow gun using the Scuba Ringer shot shells? Please?
@tibchy144 Says:
how does this perform against a home invade outside of water?
@MrRedsjack Says:
Still needs more power. 3 meter is a bit anemic in particular against bigger fish. If it the power can be increased to 5m without being bigger it would be really nice. Also some improvement for making it easier to attach a reel to the bolt, those bolts are expensive.

This would really make Aussie divers feel far more confident with rhe sharks around. Bet it wont be legal for us though.

Vllt könnte ich da was verfeinern^^
@dansiepman9531 Says:
OMG Jörg, you're a madman. A genius madman.
@mattycakes1161 Says:
Now it just needs a little clip to hold the rims of the cartridges so you can put 2 in at the same time and remove them together 😎..Will solve the issue of having to fumble with individual cartridges if you have to reload underwater.
@harlicelaver3372 Says:
How far will they go above ground
@billdomb Says:
Sound unintelligible.
@skogen5357 Says:
One minute in to the video and i thought Jörgen was talking to me from heaven

@CiroMastino Says:
Will work on sharks?
@James28R Says:
so they may work at like 30 cm distance,. wow..
@mikemunro2905 Says:
Better audio please
@TheJesusOfValhalla Says:
I've never seen such compact spearguns like that those are cool when I first saw them I thought they were a new type of taser I used to have a long spear gun that was powered by a 12 gauge but it was the size of a long shotgun I used to take it when deep sea diving for shark defense when searching for cool looking shells, and stuff I always went deep-sea diving to try and find cool things to decorate my home with, and I ended up buying the 12 Gauge spear rifle after an encounter with a shark

Hm, seems weird to use gunpowder now when it's underwater. Seems like the perfect time to make an underwater crossbow!
@Insanitypants80 Says:
Joerg gets wet and dirty so we don't have to
@sarg724 Says:
Really cool! But I'm unsure how well these would work for spearfishing. I can see two glaring problems. The first being the lack of any string which is crucial in spearfishing, and the second being the fairly small projectiles. I could imagine it working, but it depends on accuracy a lot. When you hit a fish when spearfishing, it's often still alive after the first shot. The string keeps it tethered to the speargun so it can't swim away before it dies. With a gun like this however, your shots need to be very accurate. You'd need to hit the fish directly in the head, or along the spine to immobilize it instantly before it could swim away. You get the benefit of follow up shots and an easier time aiming compared to a speargun, but since the weapon is quite loud, it might scare the fish away after the first shot if you miss, or you could hit the fish poorly and it'd just swim away before dying much later, far out of your reach. Since the projectile is small as well, that means you have less of a chance of hitting an important organ; such as the brain or spine, which you would need to do because of the lack of string. I'd really be interested to see someone spearfishing with this though. The small size and possibility for follow up shots could make it an interesting choice for people spearfishing larger fish. For example, if you speared a tuna or stripped bass poorly, and it was still alive and putting up a fight, you could definitely use something like this to quickly shoot it in the head and kill it. Kinda like an actual sidearm lol Again, it's a really cool design!
@QldChickenPuncher Says:
I wonder if Joerg says to Mrs Joerg, after special cuddles.. Another Full Penetration!
@Jäger_Sammler_Selbstversorger Says:
Well... "spearfishing" with a "Speargun" without line attached to the spear is quite ... stupid? Anyone REALLY practicing spearfishing knows why. There are at least 2 reasons for that...
@salimufari Says:
A lot of people forget what water ranges are vs in air. Max range in water being 2-3 meters is similar to 15-20 meters in air. That range is only really for accuracy not penetration power. Salt water is roughly 850 x more dense than air when accounting for salt & that's at surface level. As you go deeper in water the pressure & density goes up dramatically.

@ScottyAlmondjoy Says:
Have you tried supercavitating tips? From what I’ve seen of supercavitating bullets, it doesn’t seem all that complicated to machine from rod stock. From back to front: a cylindrical section for weight, a long conical section, a small round groove most of the way to the tip, and a rather blunt but small cone tip.
