@clintonturner5545 Says:
Be sure to put insulation around all hoses and pipes. Or you will be going to Home Depot again.
@country6589 Says:
Are you still going to be making the wall for that side or did you decide against it?

@Timothy-NH Says:
I disagree, you are not going to get enough pressure in that down pipe to fill that tank. The pressure of the water in that tank, if filled, will actually, probably be enough to push water up your downpipe and out. When you say that you've filled a tank from the bottom, you were probably doing it from a water source under pressure. Oh, and also, is there an air release in the top of the tank? If not, the tank still will not fill well, even if you had a source under pressure.
@breaux82 Says:
Seems like the head pressure in the tank wouldn’t allow it gravity feed from the bottom through a pipe that size but I am intrigued!
@kimberleeamerine3956 Says:
Look at little Brandon.. so cute stay next to his dad
@YouTubeDoxedMyRealName Says:
They also sell gutter foam inserts at HD that are pretty convenient. Also dont forget to leave the lid a little loose so the water actually fills the tank since ur filling bottom up.
@Jsomez Says:
Definitely need to worry about it freezing during the winter if it freezes it will bust the plastic tank or the pvc pipe
@CaspersShadow Says:
If you’re always cold, cooking in cast iron or taking an iron supplement can help a lot

Matt.... some of us are waiting for the countdown videos. The anticipation is getting strong
@pinkelephants1421 Says:
Always amazed that you and Mere have never seen fit to install solar, batteries and rainwater harvesting up at the house. Couldn't get more off-grid than that. Plus the Texas electricity grid is pretty dodgy and unreliable and since droughts are becoming more common and intense, having your own independent water supply for the house could eventually make all the difference.
@taylorsalva2417 Says:
Doesn't Texas freeze like all the time now?
@frontball2754 Says:
Robbie Layton had a predicament trying to get two bulls off the hills that are snowed in. Are you still a qualified vet? Can you practice in other states to sedate animals?

@IIxNUMNUTSxII Says:
Hey Matt, they make some really nice retractable water hose reels just like an air hose reel.
@Zapdos6996 Says:
It's embarrassing seeing so many people claim to have an understanding of physics, and yet be totally and completely wrong. And expose themselves in the comments for the rest of us to giggle and smirk at. You are 100% wrong. It will 100% work. It will 100% fill from the bottom with a vent at the top. We have the same exact system on several different locations throughout our property. Spoiler alert, it 100% works.
@jacobyoneda Says:
Hey Matt just FYI how to turn off that seat belt chime in your truck! For Driver's Seat: Before starting the procedure, make sure your parking brake is on. Get inside of the driver's seat and close the door. Turn the ignition to ON but not start (key position 2, or press push to start button without your foot on the brake if you have a push to start button). Wait 5 seconds, then buckle and unbuckle the seatbelt 3 times with a 1 second pause between each buckle. Wait 4 seconds, then buckle and unbuckle again. The orange/red seatbelt warning light should flash a couple times indicating that the procedure worked and was completed successfully. If that didn't work, try repeating the procedure with the parking brake OFF. For Passenger Seat: Same thing, make sure parking brake is on. Grab another person. Sit in the driver's seat, have your helper sit in the passenger seat, and close the doors. Turn the ignition to ON but not start (key position 2, or press push to start button without your foot on the brake if you have a push to start button). Have your passenger do the same procedure listed in step 4 of the driver's seat procedure or do it for them as they are sitting (Wait 5 seconds, then buckle and unbuckle the seatbelt 3 times with a 1 second pause between each buckle. Wait 4 seconds, then buckle and unbuckle again. The orange/red seatbelt warning light should flash a couple times indicating that the procedure worked and was completed successfully.) If that didn't work try repeating the procedure with the parking brake OFF.
