by that logic no one should be a doctor, nutritionist, or help abused children. I ASSURE you that he uses a doctor, dentist, etc. Taken even further, no one should be fed, clothed or taught because you're "Playing God." or "Interfering with their karma." Not even close to internally consistent. I honestly he just doesn't want spiritual people looking at other schools of thought because his org and self depend on followers donating.

Reiki and energy healing like Pranic Healing did wonders in our lives. I am infinitely grateful for their blessings. I am practicing them on myself and others, and my life changed positively. In Reiki and energy healings we don't give our energy, we are just a channel for the divine energy which is the same as when we pray for anything. In fact, healing others generate good karma ❤

I agree, from the experience of my father who was an excellent reiki practitioner - had thousands of followers and patients.
It is a dangerous practice, if gone wrong. And noone knows what when why how it went wrong.
Its mishaps after mishaps on entire family no single area left untouched from disasters.
I also asked regarding this on a Metaphysics group. Many people who practiced it, came up with similar experience and stopped.

I think its not wise to interfere with other person life energies. The play of karma is very complex . So its better to listen and not make conclusions this is it and no more is needed. He once said Intellect protect ego. So its very natural for reiki healers to feel threatened.

If you channel reiki to someone then it is not your personal energy, it is universal energy, and it has a higher will and intelligence and operates in harmony with universal laws, activating the recipients own healing power within them therefor they heal themselves… it only works to the degree they are open to it and receptive, reiki won’t take effect against someone’s will.

The point here is that people romanticize the ability to use energy. They take weekend seminars and think they can heal people. Like a doctor, it can take 10 years or more of intensive personal work to be in a state to properly energy heal. Also someone sensitized like Sadhguru can feel what others don't feel. I am such a person who is highly sensitized and spent many years in intensive meditation healing my self. I have spent days, weeks, even months removing the personal traumas of others from my system after they have tried to "heal" me. I know my traumas and I know others. If you don't eat very healthy food, you don't notice when you eat bad food. If you eat extremely healthy, you feel everything that goes in your body. This is the same with energy. Out of every 100 people practicing energy healing, maybe one is qualified. It is the highest order of healing and requires the greatest of discipline and preparation, not the least.

Reiki is first heal yourself "Shoden", that will go for years. Really, speaking it will take ages before your are qualified , competent and experience to heal others not easy, you cannot heal just by going to second stage in few years to heal. If you had to learn energy work from training, from a teacher, thru the mind, it is clear to me, you do not “know the whole of it” as Sadhguru says.
Someone working with something as powerful as energy should know the whole of it. Just like a surgeon should have graduated medical school, a person dealing with energy should be enlightened. That means they know the whole of it.
You not enlightened? Me neither, not yet! But brother/sister, do not play with energy, playing with a small part even if it looks helpful and has surface benefits, we do not know the whole of it 🙏🏽

If the practitioner has mastered their energy, and you intuitively feel that energy exchange upon meeting I don’t think they could hurt you with their pursuit:however I know a handful of reiki practitioners whom I perceive to have mismanaged energies and would never seek healing from them.
I love Sadhguru and I think some of what he says in this video has merit.

Reiki that is taught today is not like the Reiki I was attuned to in the 90's. When the symbols were only 1 book. When you had to be attuned by a master. Now they are doing reiki in hospitals. With no attunement, no symbols. This is not Reiki. I like Sadghuru but Reiki is not meddling. It is harnessing healing energy as a conduit and sharing with those who may need it. It is not playing God.

Sadhguru clearly doesn't understand what he's talking about, but speaks most assuredly. Generally he is very inconsistent, often having interesting things to say, but he doesn't know as much as he likes to think. The irony is that as a spiritual teacher, he likes to boost his ego by attacking others.

Totally disagree with Sadguru’s thoughts regarding reiki. Reiki is such a beautiful and intelligent energy that never harms anyone and if god knows someone in need of this energy healing , that person automatically attracted towards this energy and approach to reiki healer for healing. Very few people wants to learn reiki but many people wants to have reiki healing. So here God and universe energy decides who will be the Grandmaster of reiki and situation creates that that one person who is chosen from universe go for learning the reiki.
So Reiki energy is safe and it never interferes in anyone karma’s because getting healing with reiki energy is itself god and universe desire.

If the practitioner does not purify their channel with daily meditation then yes we are all at risk. People influence each other energetically just by interacting.
