I really like this idea and I'm curious to see who is going to set up these institutions so that there is a stringent gatekeeping on the sanctity of these things and how these institutions will establish their credibility in the methods of consecrating spaces and managing them. Personally, I would like to see Isha have such initiatives (if they don't already). But i also see this as being a bold statement because a lot of traditionalists might not like that "anybody can train to be a Brahmin and manage temples" or that people of other castes/religions should be allowed into the temple. There's also the danger that on one hand you're saying that different temples consecrated for different purposes have to be managed differently (e.g., only women managing the devi temple) but you're also saying that everybody, regardless of their caste creed or gender, should have the right to go into the sanctum and manage a temple given that you obtain the right training and pass the required checks. How do you avoid misinterpretations of such prescriptions like they happened in the cases of Shani shingnapur and Sabrimalai?

6 months or a year of training wouldn't make any man or woman eligible to be a priest . Brahmins go through lots of stuff since their birth like upanayana , sandhyaavandane , ekadashi , ashtottara and various other rituals . We can't compare them to other people with respect to this field .

Ik there's all types of people but ome brahmins are snobby. Like they think their caste system matters in America when they eat their big talis and throw flowers on the deity. There is nothing like a humble flexible yogi who looks to keep the system clean. Some of these swamis and priests aren't lookin too healthy lol! It's really important to love others not just appear to be holy. Rituals are to heal not always to invoke gods and goddesses but to truly bring joy and peace of mind. It's beautiful to feel true relaxation
