I bet your family are so proud of you. It's great to see that someone is living a healthy lifestyle. I grew up helping my mum and dad in the garden and we ate home grown veggies and like you say, the stuff you buy in the store is tasteless in comparison. I am now 57 year old and live in Scotland with my wife and dog called Chelsea. I hope to grow veggies next year. I have spent the entire summer preparing the garden and building a new fence. It has been hard work but boy was it rewarding. I have followed your channel for years and find the photography is amazing along with a wide range of entertaining content.

Omg the veggie in spaghetti thing must be a old school group of PNW parents! My mom and I are from Texas but my Stepdad is from Oregon and he puts squash and all kinds of veggies in his spaghetti sauce and I remember we were so skeptical at first. Really it all cooks down so much you don’t even realize you’re adding so many more nutrients ❤

My grandma is dying. I'm so lost and depressed bc of the memories and my childhood she leaves behind. Yet somehow, your words and baking/cooking from your grandmas recipes gives me comfort about her passing I can't ever describe.
