Having friends and family is important when you need a reality check. But you gotta be honest with yourself and them about how you feel, and what's on your mind. No you don't have to tell everyone that deep dark embarrassing secret that you feel insecure or maybe a little guilty about. But it's best to go to people and have people to go to if you need:
Advice, (grandparents and old people)
Intimacy (friends family lovers)
Resources
Have someone to go to for any individual thing.
