recipe for the raspberry jam bars
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup butter softened, or vegan butter
1 large egg or flax egg
1 cup oats
filling:
3/4 cup raspberry jam
chop the pecans until they are small chunks. mix all the dough ingredients together except the oats. Take a little more than half of the dough and place it into a 9x9 baking pan, pat it down. pour the jam on top. add the oats to the remaining dough and mix it until well combined. sprinkle the topping over the jam and bake for 45 minutes at 350

Congrats, Isabel and Logan!!! Green tomatoes???!!! You should try pickling them. I believe it's kosher pickled green tomatoes. They're very crunchy, spicy and very delicious. My grandfather would always make them in the fall.
