How do we learn this technique seems very advanced!? And if you cook for yourself can I pick produce that will be good for me to eat instead rejecting food after was cooked or offer to you by somebody?

I eat onions and garlic. If you eat garlic, be sure to remove the germ, inside root. This is not good for us, and I believe chronic illness can come from this. My question is do yogis eliminate garlic and onions from their diet?
