🤔 I think, or at least to me, he is saying that you pay a little attention to see what someone is saying just in case but otherwise all your attention and focus is on yourself and the sweetness of your own being. By doing this, others words bounce off you and you remain unaffected. So the key is to get yourself to that place of inner sweetness and pleasantness. Then it becomes easy to not be affected. But if you aren't there then it is hard.
