I've been looking into getting a crossbow for some hobby shooting, a couple of friends have air rifles so i think it would be fun to get something different. I've been drawn to the Adder but its out of my price range. So i have been looking at a standard Cobra R9 (without the magazine). I could probably stretch my budget to the RX and skimp on a target. And it would save money over upgrading the limb for more power.
Would i be able to upgrade it to a "full adder" later by simply buying the 7 shot magazine or would i have to do anything else to it?

hi there,
i recieved my Adder this morning with the 2.0 upgrades.
also i installed the venom extreme limb..
very very pleased with my purchase.
even though i have it maxed out (8 twists per side) i am still able to sit with a little table and bi-pod despite being disabled i am able to spend half an hour now and then hunting coconuts..😉
ps,
does anyone know where i can purchase the laser that slots in to the front of the V2 7 shot mag?

Wow this is so cool! Just one question about the way you shoot it. Let's take a pump action shotgun as a comparator...from a "tactical" point of view, you want to keep the gun on target while you pump the slide rapidly after each shot. Is this at all possible with the V3? In the video you take it off line completely and rack the handle in an almost vertical position and then re-acquire the site. Just to be clear, i am asking if you can hold the crossbow horizontal toward the target as you reload

I Bought the original single shot Cobra back when it came out and was holding off upgrading to the 5 & 7 shot as then did upgrades to mine adding the 130lbs limb and decent scope, but seeing this now think its time to upgrade to an Adder V3
