Much love bro, I hope you're having the time of your life.

Someone should have done an internet before they decided to full send the idea of using a shipping container as a bunker. SMH.

22:20 bulging on the sides
@dha12oks Says:
22:30 - Yep, those walls ain't that strong, to state the obvious now, but from my past experience, in the back of a container with a forklift, I just slightly tapped the wall and it dented in though luckily back out 😂
Guessing it's all be sorted now though, given how old this video is now.

Why don’t you accommodate the sign for the taller poles rather than chop them up. Just a thought. Keep up the good work.
Ceiling was buckling too. I just don't think they noticed that it had a belly.

I think it's time to start calling it like we see it: It's a _Lawn Lesser_ NOT A _lawn mow-er_ .

There are ways to take the pressure off that bulge and get some supports in, but this is more 1 of those "Call a Professional or get an Engineer," moments. Basically, you need someone with experience in foundation support replacement. They'll basically put some tall jacks in there so you can get some proper supports. From there, you can hang trusses and whatnot. I can only guess at the local conditions and the engineering style, but I'd estimate about 1 vertical per 6 feet of ceiling.
C-Trains are good for figuring areas and shapes, but they are made extremely cheaply. Even above ground, always reinforce.

@greenspiraldragon Says:
They were correct the side walls of a shipping container aren't designed to carry a load. They will also eventually rust out. You can't just bury them.
@MusicToMySear Says:
I like boobs. XD
@AmissaAnima_1 Says:
I think the best solution for the shipping container is to turn it into a submersible and visit the titanic
@rickbecket2820 Says:
skip to time @21:50 to see about the shipping container.
@MrHandyDad Says:
LOL - Yous guys were right, container collapsing...
Thats what makes US great - when somebody who got "C or D" HS Algebra ignore advice of someone w/ multi state Civil Engineer Licenses.
@stackingmud4011 Says:
I have a design for an applique kit to harden ISO containers for burying to make them litterally bomb proof if your interested.
@consentofthegoverned5145 Says:
You can do this without collapsing the walls of the container by filling in about six inch lifts with horizontal geotech fabric between each lift, wrapped up and over each lift above. (Think geotech burritoes) This breaks the fill plane and reduces the lateral pressure significantly, and you can wind up with a much steeper exterior slope, reducing the lateral pressure even more.
@PsiQ Says:
By now i was expecting to see a freaking madmax style drone attached with chainsaws, totally safe as long nothing goes wrong ;-)
There are those giant sawblades for helicopters .. <_<
@chrisoakey_ministry Says:
you should put a 6 inch layer of nylon rebar concrete over the shipping container before the dirt. it will stiffen and offer rust protection to the outer walls of the container. inside will still need paint. and venting should be from out the back low up through the dirt to a snoorkel to the roof at the front so as the front heats up, it draws fresh air through a cool pipe into the container.
@Dwight_Smokems Says:
Batwing mower anyone?
@dragonlove1 Says:
❤❤❤
@dominickaven7963 Says:
Replace the shipping container with a 8' or 10' culvert pipe capped at both ends door added. Problem solved! Good luck with all your endeavors! Big fan for years.
