Also, look back at what happened around 12900 years ago, it's attributed to the onset of the Younger Dryas event. Half of an astrological great year is 12960 years. We're coming up on a transition, Earth's magnetic field is weakening and misbehaving and the Earth's rotation at the surface is picking up speed, days are measurably shorter, if still only by a very minor bit. This would make plenty of sense if we were on the ascending side of the yuga cycle and approaching a transition event that happened roughly 12900 years ago on the opposite descending end.

I dont know how Kaliyug and dwapara era reduced to the number mentioned here. The last time Kalyug era spanned 432,000 human years of which around 5000 is down, so we still have around 427,000 years ahead. I dont know how the years were reduced.

The four yugas form one Mahayuga (chaturyuga):
Satya (Krita) Yuga : 1,728,000 years
Treta Yuga : 1,296,000 years
Dvapara Yuga : 864,000 years
Kali Yuga : 432,000 years
Total Mahayuga : 4,320,000 years
After 71–72 Mahayugas comes one Manvantara, and after 14 Manvantaras comes one day of Brahma.

But with the appearance of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu 550 years ago a short golden age ( 10.000 years) will maifest within the KaliYuga.
