Build a tripod over the hole with a winch attached to the peak.
Look up how they used to do this 200y ago, and use the same kind of equipment.
You might alos find an kld farm conveyor, and use it to lift the dirt out of the hole.
Another idea, buold a kadder attached tk the wall, use the ladder uorighta as rails, so you can winch a "mine cart" up

Just go to Harbor freight and get a winch and a snatch block and hook it to the bucket and the winch next to the backhoe and then you can control that and the backhoe.

Best thing for working down there is a ice machine metal scoop. Big with high sides with a
short handle not only for pushing straight forward but dragging on the side to fill with dirt. Can get in at least three sizes and great for the kids at the beach. Trust me you will wish you had them sooner.

Switch to water. A pressure washer and the trashyest trash pump you can find. Once the rocks are moved out you could probably set it up work over the long term without being in the hole so much. Dirt and silt pumped out as a slurry. If nothin else your rocks will be all clean and it'd be intresting to see how the water acts.

I would use a pressure washer and a vacuum system to remove the dirt. As fast as the pressurized water is going down, the vacuum is sucking it up and disposing of it. No heavy lifting required.
