@srinivasaraghavans9994 Says:
this is exactly 3000th comment
@rileyandrews6713 Says:
Don't do this.
@GsrItalia Says:
I asked @TechnologyConnections. He knows (and films) way better than you, on this topic.
@reidakted4416 Says:
The only hill I will die on, is that you should put the utensils in in groups: forks with forks, knives with knives, etc. It makes it so much easier to put them away later. (And it doesn't take additional time if you load the dishwasher after using them)
@jjmyt13 Says:
This was truly the day Veritasium jumped the shark 😢
@MrSharklet Says:
Thanks Derek “MaxJets” Veritasium
@nocturnomedieval Says:
No way I missed this gem for a year. 365 days manually dishwashing instead of 360 days (- 5 from shipping )of total freedom with 360jets.
@tommylee2894 Says:
I have no problem with Derek and his knowledgeable cast and Veritasium stumping for brands they know BY EXAMPLE are quality!
Thank you.
Carry on...as you were....
@svenkleinplarre9461 Says:
>No need to pre-rinse
Veritasium's dishwasher needs to face the avocado stain and then I will belive that pre-rinse is not necesary.
@Coding_geek Says:
A GREAT DETAIL PERSON WHO TOOK THE DISH OUT AT THE END WAS A FAT ONE. Veritasium WITH PROMOTING ALSO DEPROMOTED THE PRODUCT TOO.
@winkeyface2933 Says:
Loading does matter. 1: Water needs to be able to run off. 2: Water needs to be able to reach all surfaces of the dishes.
I.e. don't place a bowl on top of a bowl. And don't place a bowl such as where it will collect water.
@ylyl55 Says:
I only clicked on this for the technology connections comments.
@cassymarks6646 Says:
Bold of you to assume I have a dishwasher
@aeliusdawn Says:
If you need a dishwasher, get a Bosch instead
@hxrprxt Says:
The fall off after the acquisition was evident but in parts!
@TanDjential Says:
This is shameful
@tomasshade6065 Says:
Sad video
@erez87xp Says:
Was that a fun ad?
@alodelore9597 Says:
Why... Stop it.... What has become of ... Derek..
@francomay3963 Says:
Now veritasium runs ads?
@Jona Says:
This is sich a cool ad
@VirgilLigriv-p3n Says:
I feel like he made this video after a severe fight with his wife for how he loads the dishwasher
@SuperMaDBrothers Says:
Their “max jets”
> paid promotion
@morpheus_9 Says:
THE PREWASH DETERGENT IS PARAMOUNT to how good of a job it does! Thats why you shouldnt use pods. Or if you do, use two
@Kaleb-y2h Says:
Veritasium is owned by private equity
@discoveringcraft Says:
First you need to perform some magic and buy two of them. Only then you do video on dishwasher.
@allinonedad96 Says:
Unsubbing because this channel constantly feels like an Ad nowadays too
@Olde_Faithful Says:
Hmm. Declare that this is sponsored content or an ad at the beginning of the video, as stated in YouTube guidelines. Unsub, bye.
@mikeoxlongdnb Says:
My dishwasher also takes out trash and spends time with our kid. Quite expensive though...
@homeinvo Says:
i actually enjoyed watching his work . Now this is just another channel
@corivian Says:
When he said the full name, I knew I was watching an ad
@mertozdemir924 Says:
This is the video make me never watch a veritasium ever again.
@marakkuh Says:
Since some private equity firm bought Veritasium i'm afraid we're to see more this kind of content... Sad how money works against Derek's original idea behind this channel
@mikexirou Says:
Thats what happens when private equity funds buy channels. ie Electrify
@TheBensalley Says:
True to an extent. It’s a trade off on the extra step. Rinse large particles off by hand before putting in the dishwasher, or put them straight in with food still on them and clean the filter more frequently. There is no true “self-cleaning” ability. Either the particle is small enough to go through the filter, or it isn’t. And if it’s not, you’ll be washing any future loads with the last load’s food.
@breakmonker Says:
Awful plug. Awful awful.
@pimianimavdo1523 Says:
Yet, you like glasses of water that does not smell and taste like wet dog, rinsing before loading is a must.... Cool trick: keep the peel of a freshly eaten orange to rub utensils and plates or pots that were used to prep and eat fish, eggs, lamb, or anything with high protein... And then rinse it (after wiping with inner side of orange peel) to remove orange peel residues (as well of that stench) and then place in dishwasher to get it to clean as per instructions.... No more Wet dog smells in your glasses of water. Gee. What a concept! 😊 Water and dishes that don't stink 😊
@When-We-Wonder Says:
@veritasium unsubbed because of these adds
@ronshapper Says:
Step 1. Sell channel
Step 2. Make an ad without clearly mentioning it
Step 3. profit
@oficialdavidramirez Says:
And how does it clean the filter?
@FranciscoJavier246 Says:
I always pre-rinse the dishes not to help the machine, but to control the smell for when you open the washer door.
@jmisc Says:
Oh no he is a sellout now
@MrFacts-k3u Says:
Great
@Jimjef Says:
Most people don't realize that a dishwasher uses a fraction of the water that hand washing does, and one of the most critical components to achieve a truly clean result is using scalding hot water. If there are kids in the house, that's not a great idea. But if you have a hot wash setting on your dishwasher, or you can set the water heater temp fairly high, the result will be truly spotless, nearly sterile dishes. That and listen to Derek..😂
@josedanielvillegas4475 Says:
This was not, by any chance, on my bingo card
@LarryPanozzo Says:
Now analyze the dishwasher poor people actually have in their apartments like the $400 Amana adb1400agb 3 that’s less than half of the price of that one. 🥲
@jeremyjaramillo1500 Says:
Din forget the prewash detergent make prewash more effective
