Matt i use metal trash cans or 55 gallon drums with locking lids. You can find can liners online to help keep the crumbs from the feed contained. Rats cant chew thick metal.

That bird is an American Woodcock. (insert joke here) They use their long beaks to forage for bugs & insects. We hunt them in the fall when they migrate through. They have a very dark breast meat similar to wild ducks.

Hot tip - if you use Evaporust (they made a gel you can roll on) it would remove all that rust without having to grind it. Hose it off after and burn it clean.

I use zinc galvanised dustbins with lids for horse feed. TBH, the yard rats clean up, we're not too bothered about them, and the barn cats keep them in check.

brown colored is definitely better lmfaoo we have brand new born baby goats and some are mixed color, some are black and some are white lmfao we dont discriminate but the males are friendlier than the females
