Shit I was looking for data on these broadheads for a vertical compound bow
@Bill23799 Says:
Hello Jorge. I just watched a Survival Lily video where she makes a primitive Crossbow in the field. I think she could benefit from a collaboration video with you on making a primitive crossbow. Do you think you could stop by her place the next time Germany asks Austria if they would like to join your club?
@thra-x1855 Says:
do you have any actual hatchet launchers in your collection per chance?
@CottonTailJoe Says:
That moment when tou realize that you and Joerg have almost exactly the same shorts:D!!!!!
@susanmenegus3863 Says:
I would stock up on arrows . Can you make your own steel arrow heads . 🦅🇸🇪 🏹
@MrTimmmers Says:
Difference between a knife and an axe as far as penetration is concerned. The police forensics in a real case here said that the three bladed broadhead caused the max damage and should be illegal as a hit almost anywhere would kill through tissue damage and bleeding. The guy who was hit, with a pretty weedy crossbow, died that way after a bolt in his lower torso,

A list of the crazy stuff I can remember over the years of following you! 1) SLingshots, all kinds of crazy oversized slingshots 2) Started to shoot pub darts and some crazy wing-nut darts, Chinese Dankung design for Western shooters! 3) Slingbows! Multiplex wood! ROoftop Zombie Defence Gone Wrong! 4) Gatling slingshot! 5) Weaponized Toilet Brush! Weaponized Paper Aeroplanes! 6) Razor-Bladed Fidget Spinner + Compressed Air! 7) Air-Zooka! Way to defeat riot shield! 8) AirBows! German loophole discovered! 9) Fireworks launcher! Run!
@Stormclowe Says:
velocity defeats armor. The lighter head travels faster - so it penetrates deeper. Drive the big one twice as fast and it'll penetrate further.
@RahereTheGenius Says:
It's called flagration. This is why tanks now use layered armour, the delaminated metal bounced around on the outside. Tightly bound, percussive effect passes a shock wave through the lot. Separated,it's heavily mitigated.
@30035XD Says:
Curiously enough those points look a lot like English longbow arrowheads from the middle ages. I guess we've always been a smart species.
@janrobertbos Says:
.....if I remember correctly, the original broadhead penetrated better...............Ryan Gill is RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! greetz from the Netherlands!!!
@JAllen01 Says:
can the EK siege penitrate a board or two?
@stanlucier6177 Says:
I wish I had the money to buy one if your products but I've been having problems with money recently because of current world events lol hopefully I can get something soon though
@TrickinNinja Says:
Nice!
@motomallen Says:
Thank you Jeorg, you always make my day when you upload these great videos.
@kellenyiszabolcs Says:
My 7 year old kid complained that you forgot to say at the beginning: Hello and welcome to the slingshot channel! Please correct that mistake, otherwise he can not accept this video as an official Slingshot channel video! :)
@Jcod_ Says:
When I saw in the previous test those sharktac arrows obliterated the test rig, I immediately thought that was a more impressive result than the penetration. As you said it's all about the stopping power and bringing down the animal faster. Unless animals started wearing armor recently when I wasn't looking, those sharktac broadheads look like they'll perform wonderfully.
@woodsmanfarms9678 Says:
Broadheads a joke
@BeetleBuns Says:
a lot of people REALLY overestimate the penetration of most guns...
@JETWTF Says:
So the conventional lighter point penetrated more than those expensive and heavy ones. If you used the field tip for the weight and add conventional thin razor blades you would have a vastly superior point over those heavy and thick but lacking penetration things.... Or just use the already superior conventional points found in any archery shop. Sorry but delivering allot of energy is not needed for an arrow when hunting, penetration is, an arrow through both lungs is superior to one stuck in the ribs with the impact of a pro boxer punching the same spot. Energy delivered is wasted if there's no penetration.
@skybladebloodheart4247 Says:
i would love to see the big one actually on target.....
@evanharrison4054 Says:
This is perfect. My neighbors are made of plywood and I hate them.
@thefeatheredfrontiersman8135 Says:
That man made crossbow you are holding is much more powerful than what a hunter would use back then. Natural material vs the fiberglass/ graphite combo. They had wood, stone, bone and tendon to build everything out of.
@thefeatheredfrontiersman8135 Says:
Ahhh Jorg' you see .... In many native cultures they would use tiny and nerow stone points for a number of reasons. Limited stone availability. You can make 4 for the size of 1. Weak bow woods such as pine or willow. Accuracy for unmatched arrow spinal shafts. And penitration. It takes much less energy to get into the ribs with a little point. As you just confirmed. And your game would be dispatched just as quickly as a big clunkey point. Seek Ryan gill or billy burger of hunt primative or primative pathways and they will show why the small arrowhead actually existed.
@waldschrat9769 Says:
Hallo Jörg, nicht jeder kann so gut englisch, um alles zu verstehen. wird es von dir nochmal deutsche Videos geben, oder ist dir Deutschland egal geworden?
@niftyblackwell9489 Says:
This is a little off topic but I would love to see you build a giant rubber powered airplane that possibly drops arrows or something
@ditto7380 Says:
Have you tested a Bodkin arrowhead that is designed to punch through armor
@ditto7380 Says:
When layers have a small gap between them they can't transfer energy as easily to the next one. Like billiard balls or a Newton's Cradle desk toy.
@horstpopescu1170 Says:
Immer wieder gute verrückte Sachen nicht Schlecht die guten Teile
@adrianteichert6869 Says:
@jaksilver3656 Says:
wow, and now I want to see the 375 grain field tip against a zombie head!
@oldmatebattle2905 Says:
I liked your ballistic gel in the first video. Would love to see what the normal broad head does for comparison as well as the other ones you have.
@chaycooper5923 Says:
I'd like to see what those big arrow tips do to a ballistic dummy. Firearms channels like GarandThumb and KentuckyBallistics have been using ballistics gel dummies from Ballistic Dummy Labs. They're pretty expensive, but right now I think you can grab a ballistic gel head with skull for like $150. Would be great content.
@charlesreese9085 Says:
Bottom line, I wouldn't want to get hit by any of them.
@slingshotwarrrior8105 Says:
The last head is like a bullet spike!
@slingshotwarrrior8105 Says:
That's a tough broadhead!
@momdad4627 Says:
the force was all focused on the point on the field tester . i don't know
@RyanAlexanderBloom Says:
No doubt you’ll need to design a magazine or perhaps even a whole new repeating mechanism to fire these rapidly. You never know when you’ll be charged by a whole herd of buffalo, musk oxen, rhinos, or hippos and need to mow down several to survive. And it’s nearly inevitable that bodybuilder zombies will attack in large groups.
@modelnutty6503 Says:
makes sense, stacked they're backed up to share rigidity and be penetrated. with a gap between, each keeps flexibility to absorb/disperse some impact. wouldn't expect a HUGE difference but it'd get through more if stacked tight.
@dogkill7466 Says:
Worthless garbage
@smashu2 Says:
oK apparently momentum is what determine penetration not energy and the formula is : Momentum = mass • velocity so you can increase weight up to the point you will lose momentum according to that formula and you will increase penetration. A very heavy head will travel very slow and you will lose shooting range also it might be possible to dodge it if its too slow I play tennis I know I can dodge very fast object or block it if it's not fast enough.
@USonuMabeaCh Says:
The US Army used 1/2" pine board as a medium to represent the average thickness of a human skull for bullet penetration. If it could break through the pine board at typical engagement distances, it was considered lethal enough... If I recall correctly!
@avandarkwalker9132 Says:
This kindda remind me of a strange broad head arrows from the movie “War of the arrows”, which I think is also based on real arrows the Manchurian used.
@piotrdziurzynski2756 Says:
And We are back to testing, shooting, and good old slingshoot channel style episodes...Happy Easter mr Joerg.
@Hat6000 Says:
Pretty devastating, I sure wouldn't want to experience being on the receiving end of this speeding broadhead.
@bradsingleton3964 Says:
distance is a major factor test at 20 yards
@Marcel7378 Says:

@shovelchop81bikeralex52 Says:
It should be called the Megalodon broadhead!!
@zabdas83 Says:
My German friend, you sir are ONE awesomely EPIC dude! Cheers...
@timsimpson9367 Says:
Have you ever thought of pouring some liquid Gallium into the arrow shaft to give it more weight?
