If I had a nickel every time a scientist/team of scientists tried to find some wonder chemical and accidentally discovered another wonder chemical instead, particularly in US industrial chemical firms between 1930 and 1980, I wouldn't have a lot of money, but I could probably make do with a Big Mac.

The idea that anyone with a grain of intelligence working with cyanoacrylate at the start would not immediately see its potential as an adhesive is absurd.

20:30 So why dont recicle it quimical? or reduce it to RAW elements like hidrogen gas and carbon? I think is preferible to waste energy from solar or wind instead of contaminating al species living in this planet. All time i say the FIRE is the superpower. Make pirolisis(no fire, no combustion) to 2000ºC and get RAW ELEMNTS. put the company who produce plastic from oil to pay that in form of tax. That is how we can finace the costly most healty civilization.

This video looks like it’s a tutorial for murderers but nobody is commenting on it😭 The video itself may be innocent (I wouldn’t know I haven’t watched it) but the thumbnail and title suggest dark themes 😭

Great video... gives a little explanation to why I use Gorilla Glue as my primary super glue... something about their formulation gives it a little flexibility to hit, helping increase the shear strength. I still use other super glues, especially if I need a glue that can be absorbed easily(woods). Even the thin Gorilla Glue does not absorb as easily into woods as other things super glues

I have stage four cancer. I’ve had three surgeries to remove tumors and cancerous lymph nodes. For the tumors in the area of my small intestine, I had giant incisions made in my abdomen, one of which was stapled shut and the other being sutured with internal dissolving sutures. But for the lymph nodes, which were in my groin/hip area at the top of my right leg, the fairly large (4" or so) incision was just superglued shut. After about two weeks, the superglue started to peel off, and it was all gone within three weeks of the surgery. I was surprised that the surgeon had used superglue to close the wound, but he said that it worked better when closing an incision where a lymph node has been removed because it prevented the leaking of lymphatic fluid.

Stepped wrong on a flat roofing job, foot broke through and my face hit first. My face came down in a beam that had not yet had its nails removed and ripped my face open. I hate needles so asked for glue as a joke and to my surprise they had it. If I had the chance between stitches and glue I’ll choose stitches facial hair and surgical glue bad combo 🤔 so that’s what waxing your asshoje feels like 🫪🖕 you.
