For some reason, this reminds me of a weird effect I noticed as a kid in our hallway. Turning the lights off in the hallway made it completely dark. On the wall across from my room, you could see an image of the house up the street. Basically, my room had a large window across from the door, the image was basically what you could see if you looked through the keyhole of the door to my room and out the window, however, the image was flipped on its head. Had pretty damn good resolution, never seen that effect as clearly anywhere else, for some reason the distances just worked perfectly there

so solution is to have a double or triple or more cut out of the shape so light will form towards that shape stack them in good distances and bingo always the shape you cut out
