The records show about 200 Kashmiri Pandits have died since the 80s due to political violence. Let's say this is INDIAN GOVT covering this up.... Even by the highest kashmiri estimates possible MAYBE 2500 Kashmiri Pandits were killed and approx 120 000 Have left the valley and this is being generous. Meanwhile the lowest estimates of deaths of Sri Lankan Hindu Tamils across the tiny stretch of sea dividing India and Sri Lanka is 150 000 dead and Millions leaving the island in fear of their lives. The Indian army itself tried to help destroy these people and were luckily easily beaten back and humiliated so much the world news called it "Indias Vietnam"... And these are the official estimates given by the Sri Lankan government meanwhile every single human rights organizations NGO and UNICEF says it is vastly underestimated and a proper investigation needs to be done. Even now Sri Lanka is the country with the most disappearances every year due tot he Sri Lankan govt and military kidnapping Sri Lankan Tamil Hindus.... The Kashmiris have gone through has been a vacation compared to what the Sri Lankan Tamils have gone through. Truly you are showing such illogical ignorance saying such a ridiculous statement as the Kashmiri Pandits have gone through the brunt of it.

This session reminds me of a time when the helpless Kashmiri Pandits had approached Guru Teg Bahadur and the very young Govind Singh ji was present in the gathering. Guru Teg Bahadur ji decided to confront Aurangzeb on behalf of the Kashmiris and the rest is history...about valor and sacrifice and resistance on the one hand and unspeakable atrocities on the other. That history has been forgotten. Different narratives and groups have been created and after so many years the history is still repeating itself.
