We should carefully think about some countries that denied Palestinians full membership to the UNO, recognised Israel, (Being Muslim countries), normalised relations with Israel, signed the Abraham Accord and shifted embassies from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
1. Full membership of Palestine to the UNO: - the United Nations General Assembly has overwhelmingly voted to support a Palestinian bid to become a full UN member by recognising it as qualified to join and recommending the UN Security Council "reconsider the matter favourably".
The current resolution does not give Palestinians full membership but recognises them as qualified to join, and it gives Palestine more participation and some rights within the United Nations General Assembly.
There are 193 countries in the world. Among them, 143 countries (75%) supported the Resolution.
Only 9 countries were against the Resolution. It seems that these countries worked against humanity, justice, equality, and accountability. We need to know about these countries. They are the USA, Israel, Argentina, Czechia, Hungary, Micronesia and Papua New Guinea.
I hope these nine countries will not be included in BRICS. If these countries are included, they will make the environment of BRICS polluted.
2. Muslim countries recognizing Israel: -
Strangely, 12 Muslim countries recognised the state of Israel. I do not know why they did so.
These countries are Albania, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Senegal, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Turkey.
I feel that these countries should withdraw their recognition of Israel.
It seems that countries under the Soviet Union were bound to recognise Israel. It may be so that the common people of these countries did not want to recognise Israel but under Soviet control, they had to do so.
3. Normalisation of relations with Israel: -
The UAE, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan normalized relations with Israel. There are 4 countries.
I understand that Morocco normalised relations with Israel to claim its right to illegal occupation of Western Sahara.
I do not have clear ideas about the UAE, Bahrain, and Sudan.
Anyways, I feel that this is an insult and humiliation to the Muslim world.
4. Abraham Accord: -
Jordan, the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan signed the Abraham Accord. They are 5 in number.
To me, this is shameful.
5. Shifting embassies from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
This step is disastrous. Guatemala, Kosovo, Honduras, and Papua New Guinea shifted their embassies from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. They are 4 in number. These countries should not be taken in BRICS.
Conclusion: -
I feel that those countries who opposed full membership of Palestine to the UNO and those who shifted their embassies from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem should not be BRICS members. They are the USA, Israel, Argentina, Czechia, Hungary, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Guatemala, Kosovo, and Honduras. In total, there are 12 Countries.
In the end, Bangladesh should be included in BRICS. I am from Bangladesh.
