I would also like to specify, that the holy_scriptures in HINDUISM do NOT discriminate people based on their physical looks/skin color etc, since these texts were written OUTSIDE of India where there were NO dark & black skinned people at all. I am a scientist & independent researcher and the most funny thing about colorism & racism in India is that ALL INDIANS and ALL SRI LANKAS were once part of the AFRICAN CONTINENT that broke apart and drifted away millions of years ago. Of course later on, people from Eastern Europe/Russia and Persia/Middle East & Central Asia migrated TO India and mixed with the local population, which explains why most North Indians have (way) fairer skin than people in the South of India and Sri Lanka.
