Starlink Mission

Starlink Mission

????

SpaceX is targeting Friday, July 14 at 12:40 a.m. ET (4:40 UTC) for a Falcon 9 launch of 54 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Base in Florida. If needed, a backup opportunity is available on Saturday, July 15 at 12:15 a.m. (4:15 UTC). This is the 16th flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched GPS III-3, Turksat 5A, Transporter-2, Intelsat G-33/G-34, Transporter-6, and 10 Starlink missions. After stage separation, Falcon 9 will land on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship in the Atlantic Ocean. A live webcast of this mission will begin about five minutes prior to liftoff.

I live in Rancho Mirage, CA. and I saw them Streak across the sky right above me at 9:15 pm. July 17th 2023. Coming from NW traveling SE. I was able to count 50 satellites in all, I guess I miss counted by 4. I have heard of the train of lights but I never thought I would see it for my self. It was an awesome sight. I had just slept out of my house at the right time, and I’m always looking up. 🤩

What is the use of paying almost 60 euros for a 30/3 satellite Internet connection with 45 GB of data limit? Can someone explain this joke to me? Yes, I know, they put your phone in, but what the hell, the Internet connection doesn't make sense, 45 Gb... you can't even download a game on the console. It's ridiculous. If I lived in rural areas, or went away for a long time to my town in Granada, I am clear about it, I always have been, Starlink. It is that there is no possible point of comparison with those other 'inventions' of Hispasat and now this one of Movistar Satélite.

Does Spacex continue to purchase payload insurance, or are they self insured?

Mercury program was a big dealin early 1960s, I was in the third and forth grade then. My interest in all things science started then I had a notebook with Kansas City Star news paper clipping for all thing space, I'm age 70 now and still lovr to lrarn all things science. Elon is such a visionary, just have first stage boosters landing for future reuse is awesome...

No rush to launch, that's one of the reason for the low failure rate by SpaceX. Very good👍

Why can't we (the watchers) have a rocket in controlled spectacular explosion in space as parts shoot into space direction and get us a low cost explosion show in space.?! (AKA -> FIREWORKS IN SPACE) F-W.I.S.

Can anyone give me the gist on why was it scrubbed?
@trs4u Says:
In what state (other than "stowed"!) are the satellites inside the fairing? Are they fully powered-off, sleeping, or as fully online as a packed satellite could be? Are they connected to external power inside the fairing, or are their batteries slowly discharging?
