My suggestion is, would it be a good idea to pick up the starship loaded with the landing fuels lifted to the tower's maximum height? Then start the landing engines while held by the arms, then when the hover has stabilised, release the arms, hover around a little and recatch with the arms and recovery?

I just imagine lets suppose we met alies of other life on Mars or whatever and they asked about Earth what would we say...we fixed everything here and so decided to spend spare money and wealth we had to explore other places to survive..I am not saying you shouldnt I am saying that instead of making the place that we know of shore where we can survive better why spend millions to discover some place where we can migrate if the Earth gets destroyed which bythe way being destroyed most by humans

If you put a huge parachute on top of the rocket, maybe it will help, since it only lands 2 times maybe 2 parachute will do. Plus if you put some exhaust going on parachute maybe help in the speed of the ship specially when it travel or land. Foldable Parachute its better and reusable.
