We now know the truth. It was not the Soviet Union that tried to destabilise the world, but the United States. Sponsoring of coups and the assassinating of Presidents and Prime Ministers it did not like is there for all to see.
That still goes on till this day.

Jerusalem isn’t in the west it’s called the Middle East, and Islam also originated there. Ben only claims it as western is Christianity is the dominant religion here in the US and anything with the US equals good in his mind.
@beck.42 Says:
The claim about religious tolerance is completely incorrect. The Mongol empire was famous for not imposing religious restrictions on conquered peoples and facilitated the spread of different religions.
@beck.42 Says:
The west doesn’t have universal human rights. There was a vote in the UN to make water a universal right and the US voted against it.

PragerU even with this interensting video only is showing an "anglo" vision of World History, ignoring among others, spaniard and portuguese participation in World History,,, Is a intentional or unintentional partial view of the World History, that as such is very incomplete an tendentius... Spaniards and portuguese people gave their culture to more than 800 million of people that in this video are blatantly ignored.

Idols and the Living God
Jer 10v1 Hear the word that the LORD speaks to you, O house of Israel.
Jer 10v2 Thus says the LORD: “Learn not the way of the nations, nor be dismayed at the signs of the heavens because the nations are dismayed at them,
Jer 10v3 >>>>>>>> for the customs of the peoples are vanity. <<<<<<< A tree from the forest is cut down and worked with an axe by the hands of a craftsman. <<<<
Jer 10v4 >>>>They decorate it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so that it cannot move.
Jer 10v5 Their idols are like scarecrows in a cucumber field, and they cannot speak; they have to be carried, for they cannot walk. Do not be afraid of them, for>>>> they cannot do evil, neither is it in them to do good.” <<<<<<<
Jer 10v6 There is none like you, O LORD; you are great, and your name is great in might.
Jer 10v7 Who would not fear you, O King of the nations? For this is your due; for among all the wise ones of the nations and in all their kingdoms there is none like you.
Jer 10v8 They are both stupid and foolish; the instruction of idols is but wood!
Jer 10v9 Beaten silver is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz. They are the work of the craftsman and of the hands of the goldsmith; their clothing is violet and purple; they are all the work of skilled men.
Jer 10v10 But the LORD is the true God; he is the living God and the everlasting King. At his wrath the earth quakes, and the nations cannot endure his indignation.
Jer 10v11 Thus shall you say to them: “The gods who did not make the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth and from under the heavens.”

Deu 4v15 “Therefore watch yourselves very carefully. Since you saw no form on the day that the LORD spoke to you at Horeb out of the midst of the fire,
Deu 4v16 beware lest you act corruptly by making a carved image for yourselves, in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female,
Deu 4v17 the likeness of any animal that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged bird that flies in the air,
Deu 4v18 the likeness of anything that creeps on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the water under the earth.
Deu 4v19 And beware lest you raise your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, you be drawn away and bow down to them and serve them, things that the LORD your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.

Ouch, great stuff but when it comes to Luther and the so called Reformation, the revisionist history rears it’s head. Luther was a villain and the chaos that resulted from his stubbornness still plagues us. False to say Luther’s folly gave rise to capitalism. That’s a new one! So Protestants invented the free market!

A very informative compilation of videos.
However the last video about Martin Luther, by a protestant theologian, is only half the story. My, albeit feeble, understanding of the Catholic Church, and its history, it is a) it was founded by Jesus (Matt 16:18) b) it will never cease to exist (Matt 16:19) c) it became labeled katholicos by 100s AD in letters from St. Jerome (?) to those outside the church or to other churches, d) it is ever growing organically, considering, seeking to understand, developing and exposing more of God's truth about the universe; as more of an organism than an organization, though it has organization as all communities of many people require, e) Martin Luther could've chosen to work within this framework, had he not been so flawed, more than a few great reformers rose up within the church to eradicate missteps or outright evil perpetrated by bad actors within the church just at the same time of the "protestant reformation" and continuously since then as the Devil seeks to destroy the Church from within and from without, without pause (spoiler alert, he loses in the end, but he will take as many with him as he can), f) the printing press would still have been invented and bibles would still have been distributed for more to read as literacy increased, without requiring a schism that resulted in 26k+? other Christian churches not following Jesus' example of remaining & renewing within His church (he & the Father & the Holy Spirit sought to unify the chosen people with all the nations of the world as children of God), g) God has inspired and produced many great scholars of science, law, philosophy, & theology within the Church, so to imply a period of Enlightenment could have only grew out of the "independence" minded schismatics is also false; God's word itself encourages people to test and find what is good and hold to what is true, h) likely colonists would still have rebelled against unjust laws and economic actions by the British Crown, so the fact that 55 signers of the Declaration of Independence were protestant has more to do with 1) many of their English ancestors left the Catholic church to avoid the great Catholic persecution (economic and physical) following the "reformation" and were protestant more by birth than by choice, 2) Catholics were legally prohibited from holding public office and were 2nd class citizens, whose loyalty was not trusted, in the colonies; the one signer Charles Carroll, was politically permitted as he helped bring France's (largely Catholic at the time) financial and military support to the Revolution (the enemy of my enemy is my friend...)
So we must ask ourselves whose purposes are served by what Martin Luther created in his stubborn impetuous actions? Certainly not God's, if you're a Bible believing Christian that takes Jesus word to go and make disciples of all nations into His church, founded with St. Peter at the helm to start.
PragerU is not here to promote 1 faith over another, so would benefit from including some Catholic perspective on history, but we cannot expect a protestant seminary professor to provide a balanced point of view, though he tried by interjecting that we couldn't judge the merits of the protestant reformation. I think we can judge it against God's word, and His will for us, and I think it falls firmly in the wrong column. One can't assume ensuing historical events called out in the last video would not have occurred if the schism hadn't occurred.
@Guitarasaur-Guitar-Store Says:
The “Brandons” forget that the Enlightenment’s Darwinism led to Race Science, Human Zoos, Native Americans referred to as “Savages”, World War, Eugenics (population controls) like abortion and LGBTQ, and more.
“With savages, the weak in body or mind are soon eliminated; and those that survive commonly exhibit a vigorous state of health. We civilized men, on the other hand, do our utmost to check the process of elimination. We build asylums for the imbecile, the maimed and the sick; we institute poor-laws; and our medical men exert their utmost skill to save the life of every one to the last moment. There is reason to believe that vaccination has preserved thousands, who from a weak constitution would formerly have succumbed to small-pox. Thus the weak members of civilized societies propagate their kind. No one who has attended to the breeding of domestic animals will doubt that this must be highly injurious to the race of man. It is surprising how soon a want of care, or care wrongly directed, leads to the degeneration of a domestic race; but excepting in the case of man himself, hardly anyone is so ignorant as to allow his worst animals to breed.” Charles Darwin, The Descent of man

You’re all making thoughtful intelligent summations and that would be great if the people in a position to make a change were indeed intelligent themselves. Conversely, if they were intelligent, wise people, these arguments wouldn’t be necessary in the first place. We have been dumbed down in mass and perpetuity. Our intelligent minds are buried under decades worth of emotionally driven indoctrination of entitlement.
