We salute George Weah and hope other African leaders will follow this example. If we train persons to take over from us, then we should have no fear about the country progressing. Otbers around us could be another matter.

My brother we are now facing a volent transition in Mozambique Government party don't want to accept their defeat. I don't know what is going wrong with this people. A huge difference in votes but they use police, they corrupt electoral bodies that is the electoral administration, the constitutional Court to mantain in power, ignoring all the laws and the people willingness.

As an American, I believe that the transference of leadership is one of the best ways to actually feel your voice and freedom means something in a 8:52 sovereign country. Once everyone gets used to it you will see the population grow in confidence and business will start flourishing.

I see this as full benefit into sovereignty, and emphasize the fact that this places the country and its leadership into an increased international responsibility for the country's wellbeing.

George Weah is not like that. My mother and him were best friends when they were younger and my mother said he is not the type of guy to cause war. He is from my ethnic group and we do not like death as a part of our paradigm.

Being an athlete, I'm sure that helped him to understand, u win some u lose some. And I'm sure he didn't want to see his country in chaos over who won the election. More power to the brotha, a great example for others to follow.

The idea that those who come from money will not steal is being debunked everyday. Most of these politicians come from money and they're still corrupt. There's a big difference between somebody who makes 1M/year and another who makes 2M/year. Now imagine they get to hang with billionaires and Trillionaire families only to feel like a peasant. A great man said as long as we keep using the money system we will always have wars corruptions and aberant behaviors.
@iasproduction2993 Says:
Zack you have been living in a bubble. Many countries in Africa have been having peaceful transition of powers.

That is a beautiful lesson. If you weren’t smart enough to Highlight it, it would’ve gone unnoticed. The corrupting influence of power has always been a thing. It is as intoxicating as the scent of a beautiful feminine woman. Show me a rose without a thorn!? Proverbs 6:27,28 The truth of the matter is that he stepped down because he actually cares about the people that he represents. Numbers 8:23-26

Well, the people obviously have importance to whatever regime attempting to keep power but it says a lot about those that they govern if they allow such acts to go on unchallenged. It's a destructive mindset created by the notion of establishing calm when in reality it's a slow bleed to a massive injury.
@Beloved5 Says:
He did well.....that's the exposure we need to copy from the west...that alone , and maybe 2 or 3 other things
@c.kainoabugado7935 Says:
Peaceful transfer of power is important to the people who voted. I'm facinated by the comments about multiple wives in Africa countries. I'm unaware of this as a lawful occurrence. Lmk.
