Hey Zack, Just to flag that the Visa free for Kenya is just a government Scam. They introduce another thing called Travel authorization which has the same visa procedures and fees. It takes you the same time, effort and money needed for a Visa and you can get denied the travel authorization so it’s not a Visa free country. I don’t think this is implemented yet as one Congolese sister with an American passport was arrested two days at the airport. She had the assumption that she will get a visa on arrival but it was crazy . It took her hours to apply for a visa and she had to pay money officers like it’s normal. Until it’s clear and confirmed, you will still need a visa to Kenya. Please don’t make that mistake if going without completing your visa online

There is a big difference between allowing African to travel to Kenya without visa versus the whole world travel to Kenya without visa. Africa has not been shown a lot of love if we look at history. Zack, it is not really true that you can visit Kenya for free. You correctly stated that you have to apply online and wait 3 days there's also a fee. They can also approve or deny your application, this is a visa but not called visa. That's the truth. As a South African i can also tell you that xenophobia is not a result of poverty, that's an insult. Xenophobia has a cause that is not addressed but the mere fact that some people do not want to address the real issues because of Pan Africanism is counter productive. We need to have a conversation and agree how to build Africa based on every state's values, customs and their way of life. In Jamaica when new slaves arrived, they were usually questioned by older slaves to determine if they were from the same tribe and possibly get news from home. This was done to determine if you are related by blood, she could trace your lineage back four or five generations.
