Macron has a beef with Russia not only because of their annihilation in Ukraine but he also sees Russia as the main reason why France is losing it's colonial power and influence in the Sahel ie Africa. He sees Russia as a big brother protecting Niger, Bukina Faso and Mali, unfortunately this is embarrassing to his leadership because they are nothing without looting our resources🙂.
