He did right choosing Sonko as Prime minister because he looks at Sonko as his mentor. Diomaye also had a son sometime ago that he named after Ousman Sonko. They were also in jail at same time so Sonko planed this whole thing while in jail. His the reason Diomaye is elected. It’s a great win for Sonko & Diomaye.

Former president Macky Sall has left Senegal for Saudi Arabia soon Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye took office. What makes African presidents always running away soon they leave power? How often we see former leaders from the West or Asia coming to Africa for protection when they leave office? Sall, in my opinion was Senegal's worst president! He is escaping prosecution and thinks the Saudi Government will protect him. He needs to be deported, investigated and prosecuted.
