Obviously Mr. Sadhguru is quoting the Yugas in accordance with the teachings of Sri Yukteshwar, which are MUCH shorter than the original Yugas. Besides, the number 25000 in reference to the number of years the Mahayuga takes, is certainly not derived from any movement of the solar system around any point of reference. It is the equivalent of the Platonic year which results from the slow rotation of the earth`s axis (wobbling) and takes about 25000 years to complete a circle and return to the initial position.
