I was lucky enough to join a BBQ team and I learned from the guys with experience. At first I was the help, lugging wood,staying up all night maintaining the fire that sort of thing. I did this for a couple of years and the experience was invaluable!!! BBQing isnt that difficult just time consuming to get it right.

If you are making food for human consumption, you should always use edible woods, like apple wood or the obvious ones that you'll see in any kinds of jerky... (hickory, maple OR apple) Its a sensible safe tree to burn!

Pork ribs,boil in beer and sweet bby rays beforehand. Also remove the silver skin membrane ........then smoke as low and slow as your schedule allows, if you got to go it's not a problem......its actually a good thing as long as the m eat never reaches the danger zone temperatures for health reasons......and when done, you'll have fall off the bones smoked ribs❤.........the key is pre cooking in 🍺 and BBQ sauce. You'll have 12+hour smoked tender ribs in half the time and usually get better results ❤

The 321 method is the way to do it. My family has been doing it for a long time with ribs, tastes good to me. Also get yourself some thermometers that have internet so you can monitor them, it's all about temps.

Matt. On the white truck check the fuel pump driver module. It's located on the frame in front of the spare tire. Those corrode and can cause the problem you are having.
