Matt and the boys, great job on the care package! That’s an awesome idea and a great gesture. Keep up the great hard work!
@matthewkeech2131 Says:
hey matt, for the range why don't you bury some pipes in the ground just above ground level that other pipes can slide in. Just like some flag poles. That way you can take it down when not in use.
@RebekahStevens-d9h Says:
I hope you guys didn't charge the customers for the door knob when it was your minor mistake to not be prepared and change the knobs. It's instinct to lock up before you leave.
@Plahin_Invest Says:
Hi Matt
@halfcirclehranch6877 Says:
Crazy idea for the range pavilion or canopy... instead of a fixture, get some kind of flat bed trailer (or even a flatbed truck) with outriggers for stability, and put a canopy on it. Then it can just be moved wherever you want it. It'll never be in the way.
@MaximumSponge Says:
I got a little excited towards the end of the video when I started seeing the text on screen. I thought we were bringing back Booty Snapple. :(

He drilled out the lock? That wasn't a lock guy, that was a guy with a drill. That lock didn't need to lose it's life.
@wispr_official Says:
Why not do what every range does and place the pavilion 100 yards from the backstop and have PVC in the ground for choice of distance?
@bigginwest1069 Says:
Matt, they make a ADA rubber ramp that you can put at the front door to make it accessible, it's like a angled welcome mat. Hope you get to see this!!! Love you videos!!!
@Best_in_show98 Says:
They make Ada compliant golf carts.
@lb6056 Says:
More greedy ABNB owners taking away homes from families to buy. You reap what you sow 🤣🤣🤣.
@raymondotterbine Says:
Why not build movable pavilions on a track?
@Anthonysan86 Says:
Matt are you allowing a camping by the river type of deal? I really want to take my truck out and stay a few nights at the resort and check out the range I want to bring what ever firearms I have and just have a good time
@Side-yard-shenanigans Says:
I think you have the right idea with pipes&canopy(canvas)-however an even better approach would be to install pipe sleeves in various places. Then you can insert/remove poles accordingly AND adjust height to create an angle for rain off. I would also recommend installing the base sleeves in a pyramid/angle formation,to provide added strength, versus straight up out of the ground.
@johannvantonderlife Says:
Put the canopy on a track that is lockable so you can move it back and forward.

@Pauline-ir2tr Says:
When we built our house, we had "closet" type door knobs on our entrance doors (without anyway to lock them so we couldn't be locked out). Then we put deadbolt locks on the doors so we needed a key to lock it from the outside.
@1stCrippleb Says:
Maybe for your shade if you do sink pipes into the ground sink sleeves instead. Then you can install the pipes and remove them if needed.
@Liistro777 Says:
Thanks so much for making housing more expensive for all of us.
@RRooooooNNNN Says:
Possibly see about smart thermostats, you can remotely change temps from phone, unless you want to change it there and see the house.

Custom Tow able pavilions sounds like a team up between muscle rod, holden bros, and carrier construction lol
@blakeappine Says:
Years ago (before airBNB), my family stayed in a house in Florida. We left out through the garage after deadbolting the front door. Come to find out this deadbolt did not have a key hole on the other side...It was a night time lock, like they have at hotels some times. So we were locked out of the rental home and had to call a locksmith to come help us break into the back sliding glass door.
This kind of stuff is common with rentals it seems lol. In the years after that we would stay in the same home. They had a sign next to the front door that read, "Please do not lock this bolt and leave through the garage."

@fredericrike5974 Says:
I'm kind of done with BH over that episode he shot on your range. If he didn't delete it, the rocket I sent was in his comments. But, Matt, you have always trod so carefully to not drag a "brand of politics" into your content, I felt certain you weren't up for what he did. He may not realize it, but a lot of people who saw that were unthrilled by his performance. You don't want that brand and you have tried hard to not get it slung.
I am enjoying watching you tip toeing from one sketchy idea to the next and making it work- the resort is looking tons better, and I'll hazard your wild life count hasn't gone down, maybe gone up- Dr. Lee looks really good out working o this project. Selling his ranch was a tough thing- this "resort" may be the answer to some of his dream as well.

@how-i-roll-rb5796 Says:
@Matt_Carriker as for the Range you should do what Sig Sauer in NH does at their outdoor Ranges we deal with various weather. They use I believe there Steel Carports they are like 20'L x 10'w x 10'H being a temporary structure they can be moved if needed. Sig uses them on their pistol ranges. but think depending on your course size you can setup like you mentioned pistol classes on the sides and PRS (Precision Rifle Shooting) in the middle or you could use the 180° range for pistol and have someone weld what would look like metal ski's or sled rails basically flat stock on bottom rail of carport wider than think they use square tube and have an upwards arc on the ends so when needed you can grab a tractor & tow them off to one side like next to the conex boxes. Though I know you want to build a second range & the berm is great they use what in the military we called I think hesco's basically it's a giant sand bag it's like 5'x5' box not sure if it's burlap or what material & reinforced with metal (I have seen people use that metal as fencing in Texas but they use it to reinforce the boxes) and fill them with a sand mix that's solid in the military they were used to build Fire Bases to FOB'S for the outer walls but know Sig & many ranges use them as walls or barriers in-between different ranges. Honestly with connections you have or you may need Crispy as he has some as well but honestly think you need to take a trip & check out their facilities as I think your original plans for different ranges and experiences is very similar to what they do and think with Crispy's connections (I might have few but he has more) and if you have any it would be great(will do second post for other ideas)
