After going through treatments for ADHD and depression for years, I have come to the conclusion that western psychology was developed just to oppress the weak. They convince you that you're permanently broken for having regular human experiences and that you have to keep going back to them if you want to be normal.

Freud was not a dishonest man. Carl Jung work is superior to Freud work yet Freud became the mainstream

The situation is not as you describe it. It requires someone to have undergone psychoanalysis in order to fully understand Freud's theories. However, Erich Fromm's book "Zen Buddhism and Psychoanalysis" could be a useful read for those interested in the subject."

Freud found some nuts and bolts in a mechanism of the mind and blew the theory up to the macro level.

I had 2 dreams recently. Not in the same night. In one dream, I got stabbed to death. In the other dream, I took some written test in school and I knew none of the answers. The stabbing dream wasn't scary. The test dream was. I am not joking.

Sadhguru has the skill to explain all of life’s complex issues in a deeply philosophical yet simple way. Such sages are as rare as salt in flour. After listening to them, many of the mind’s tangled knots are unraveled.

I'm a Psychoanalyst and Critical Theorist. Girindrashekhar Bose, the father of Asian psychoanalysis, pointed out the fallacies regarding Freud's idea of libido and Unconscious hidden desires. Bose sent his thesis paper to Freud named "Concept of Repression." Freud accepted his stereotypical flaws. In Patanjal Yogasutra, everything is explained and sorted already. We do not need Freud or Jung to understand Psychoanalysis, if I have to be brutally honest. Where Jung and Freud stop, Patanjal Yogâ Darsana begins there.

Please help me! After a long meditation I reached the state of samadhi, I became ecstatic and without physical and mental limitations, I stopped meditation because i thought i was enlightened: worst mistake of my life because that state went away after a while and I cant reach it anymore cause I keep thinking at the result. The worst thing is that now i just want to go back to being ecstatic i dont think about anything else, i also started taking drugs. help.

Jung wrote a paper on kundalini yoga and split with Freud on the collective unconscious theory so they were not the same in this regard ,,,,,,Bandler Nlp. studied and modelled happy effective sucessful people
@agookchild Says:
After learning about buddhism and eastern philosophy, my skepticism of freud and jung grew. I suspected that they were missing important parts to their understanding of how the mind works. After learning that they had never attempted to study an actual yogi or a person in meditation, and that Jung actually turned away the oppurtunity to talk to Ramanamharshi, I felt that they (Western psychologists like Jung/Freud) were afraid of something.
@stevedavy2878 Says:
I totally agree. Jung was far more in tune with our consciousness

@mabdu-r8q Says:
Freud's entire psychoanalysis was based on ancient Jewesh Kabbalah that included most of its concepts. He was supporter and follower of Zionism and to mask that fact forged up a lot of stuff. If interested read book: Sigmund Freud and the Jewish Mystical Tradition by D Bakan
@sudeepmnv646 Says:
Very well said ... psychologist just like most western scientists study a small subset and conclude for the whole set 😊
@amitmishra5947 Says:
Wow And Sadguru is right 😂😂 Whatever he says is right
@elsapien503 Says:
If Freud put down the cocaine as well as dropping his raging addiction to the sexualisation of female pathology, maybe he could've seen the world through a clearer lens. I also feel Freud's outlook toward women also contributed to his grandson, Clement - being a paedophile and rapist.
@Cunaooo9 Says:
