The biggest plot point of the anime is when the girl's grandma died, leaving her alone and in major trouble because she didn't have a job and was dependant on the grandma. She had her dreams (drawing) crushed by it, threw all of her arts away. He tried to cheer her up... later on He saved her from a suicide, in the process getting himself hit hard by a car. He became depressed and had his dreams crushed, just like she was. Then she changed herself for him, got herself a job that she loved, stopped being depressed and waited for him to come out of the hospital.
That was the male fantasy, being so loved that your partner will change herself for you.

This is pretty funny if you think about how it even started, someone basically read the title and watch the video misinterpreting it as 'men wants control over women at all times' and they just posted the first comment implying 'this post is talking about a disgusting fantasy that all men have.'
