@horacio1962 Says:
"Why would they make this up?" Two reasons. 1) WWE style propagandists and 2) Epstein Files.

@johanlundstrom1561 Says:
This looks like a deception operation - they have something else that works, likely something relying on secrecy, and they do NOT want anyone else to know.
@pickititllneverheal9016 Says:
Wonder if the cia can track these chin nuts?
@mohamadhoseinf1560 Says:
The news agency that shouldn't be trusted is actually New York times, where someone like Farnaz Fasihi and likes of her are spreading propaganda in favor of the Islamic regime in Iran.
@SuterudoIRL Says:
So is easier to ask some CIA psychics...
@wafer-dude-official Says:

@outofcontrol4499 Says:
So Ghost murmur is BS but to me the real question is what technology could the CIA have that the DOD doesn't? What would that be?
@PacManObsessions Says:
They deployed a helicopter that could detect Nacy Guthries pacemaker in an attempt to find her when she went missing. It reminds me of that except that was bluetooth signals
@aitanjtovee Says:
Man, Veritasium has dropped off hard, I'm finding myself clicking off only 6 minutes into the video.
I want to hear Derek, (even if infrequently) not some random collection of presentors hired by private equity slop.
@wahili23 Says:
Are you trying to tell me that the CIA is using propaganda in a war!? Pish posh
@danirizary6926 Says:
Obviously his beacon had a GPS, and gave his location to within 30 feet, using a $25 GPS chip.
@jeremybebernitz5370 Says:
New York Post sensationalize things, that cause conspiracies. People who don't understand spead this with out knowing how it works.
@jamielancaster01 Says:
🌟He’ll no they can’t track your heart beat.
@bathtoeaster Says:
Use ground news…. Or just listen to horrible far right media owned by billionaires
@hritikyadav1 Says:
No, that is not true. I have a little connection inside, and what I found was that it was not Ghost Murmur. It was something like they used some sort of satellite or device that sent a signal over a wide range of area (kilometers). Then the pilot had some sort of device which didn't have any power, but the moment the configured signal touched the device, the signal got reflected back to the sensor of that satellite or device, which picked it up and calculated the location with some minor error of a few kilometers. Then a helicopter searched that small area to find the pilot. This is just what I know
@jonshellmusic Says:
1:24 “…According to a New York Post article.” This whole video is based on a NY Post article? A Tabloid. Owned by the Fox News Murdoch family. Might as well base a video on ‘my drunk uncle Fred told me…’ That has roughly the same journalistic integrity.
@1NSHAME Says:
I bet that the heartbeat they detected was his beacon's "heartbeat" signal. Whether that beacon is using radiowaves that can be detected by any army in the world, or something a bit more exotic like pulsing a strong magnetic field so that only someone with specific sensors can pick it up, is another question. I bet the newspaper heard "heartbeat" and run with it assuming it's the actual heart's heartbeat.
@MrMattsMedia Says:
Gonna go get my masters in science then come back to watch this video so I can understand it
@Quawnn Says:
Btw, iran didn’t shoot them down
@Mrklondike95 Says:
They were paid off by the CIA
@geofsawaya394 Says:
This is bull$41t
@soothingunboxing7129 Says:
It doesnt have to make sense because their budget is many times the civilian budget for science. Those black budget does not have any requriement to publish scientific results, so the smart thing to assume is civilian science can not be used to make sense of classified military science.
@samd2170 Says:
Well, thanks for the memories veritasium. I suggest yall unsubscribe from these slop vids
@myviews5991 Says:

@IrishCarBomb77 Says:
They're saying "no comment" and declining to talk to keep up the ruse....
@Lykapodium Says:
I farted in the woods once and then I heard helicopters
@fastradioburst253 Says:
Perhaps the pilots wear a classified device that can detect their heartbeat in this manner, and then amplify and broadcast it when queried by a microwave transmission from rescue forces?
@charliebaby7065 Says:
Long distant action potential readings?
"Silent talk" Regina Dugan, darpa.
I never though id see the day.

@michaelmashburn6068 Says:
I wonder if heartbeats are unique like a fingerprint... You could look for a specific signature and tune out the noise.
@TheBrucifer Says:
Someone took the word literally..
@bumponlog Says:
I used the built in ai to summarize this so I didn't have to watch your drawn out stupid video.
@bsdetector6908 Says:
Wasn't this a failed Delta Force raid on Iran's uranium that got turned into a heroic rescue story by Trump? Heartbeat sensor indeed 😂😂
@TheBussaca Says:
Or Veritasium was paid by the CIA to downplay the importance of this new technology. I see you Veritasium. I see you.
@GiuseppeSan Says:
This is the frickin "scan for life signs" from Star Trek...
@WinDonX Says:
Why don't you think that the pilot carried a magnetic field generator that mimicked the pilot's heartbeat signature?
@Boredhammer2 Says:
Did any of you take into account the idea of a heartbeat amplifier that specifically directed towards this kind of equipment?
@xenocore01 Says:
Nice touch, using Cyberpunk soundtrack music. 👍
@beakhole793 Says:
The highlighter video was obnoxious. Tone down the overhyping and overediting and stick to letting the coolness of the story carry itself. If it isn't cool enough to do that without a wierd shot of a hand holding a highlighter highlighting every line in a paper line by line, then don't do a video on it.
