Crew-5 Mission | Launch

????

SpaceX and NASA are targeting no earlier than Monday, October 3 for Falcon 9's launch of Dragon's fifth science expedition mission (Crew-5) to the International Space Station from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The instantaneous launch window opens at 12:46 p.m. ET, 16:46 UTC, with a backup opportunity available on Tuesday, October 4 at 12:23 p.m. ET, 16:23 UTC. The Dragon spacecraft supporting this mission previously flew Crew-3 to and from the space station, and – following stage separation – Falcon 9's first stage will land on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. During their time on the orbiting laboratory, the crew will conduct over 200 science experiments and technology demonstrations in areas such as human health and lunar fuel systems. The webcast for the Crew-5 mission will go live about 4 hours before liftoff.

Could we perhaps do away with the black burglar masks of the support crew? They look like a secret bomb squad or something. Surely there are other stylish options.

Awesome stage 1 landing back! But must be very well diagnosed and repaired-maintained for vital and constructional parts if needed further

Hello; This letter is addressed to every person who has ever been in my place, that of ONLY dreaming. Having many dreams/ideas/inventions etc. By performing "new" to come. Punctually I am NOT looking for fame, but I am looking for money so that my life can completely change course, definitively leaving the current situation, in which many of us do not want to be. My ideas are related to the automotive market but there are others that can make a difference with their creation. To you man/woman, I just need a chance, I'm 34 years old and that's it. Please share until you find whoever you say; if I help you !

I don't understand why the crew aren't provided with video of the launch, and for that matter, exterior cameras they can view on their monitors.

Nice editing and cheap movie budget, now when are they going to go to the moon again?, this is like space race part 14th or 53 season and they never get to the beginning of the movie-series. OMG or is impossible to get out of this "planet"????? oh no..........
@enanoh8971 Says:
The Space Race??????? Whaaat? that was 53 Years ago, Why repeating and old Movie???? oh because people will pay to rewatch it again and again, like spider man.

Not that it's a big isssue or anything but is therre any reason why spaceX only has female hosts nowadays? In my experience I always got a better understanding of what they are trying to explain when it is done by a male host as they tend to use different and more appropriate words in their explanations. Regardless, what a spectacular launch, loved to watch this!

Flights to the ISS have long turned into a useless farce. When everyone is doing it, but they do not know why it is necessary. All experiments have been completed. Astronauts fly there like in a taxi. Automation takes, brings, provides in orbit. There is no point in this circus. It is high time to step over this dilapidated stage, sink the stupid ISS and move on, to the experiment on the Moon, Mars, extra long missions ...

I grew zucchini this year, I didn't even know I was growing it. I think some of the summer squash became the zucchini and it came out to be round in shape and very delicious. The way the zucchini was grown was a filtered method where the fertilizer was first used in all the marijuana potters, and then trickled down into the flower bed and squash vines. I learned a lot this summer.

Superheavy flying in: The floating to space thing. There have been new developments to that theory and they are as follows, 1) a space elevator, 2) the elevator is a series of small ships 3) the ships use a potentiometer contact landing site that helps elevate the planes along with their afterburn or whatever electric fan motor idea that won't freeze in space 4) and it docks and locates the elevators of ships to space like a magnetic launcher location device. 5) there are still rocket booster on the planes 6) there still needs to be a heavy effort for alternatives. - The Meg (Tequila Meg: 2oz tequila, lime juice , pineapple juice, campari, Champagne) When we write a song later about it, it will be named as such; " The Elevator to Space"
