Iridium OneWeb Mission

Iridium OneWeb Mission

????

SpaceX is targeting Friday, May 19 at 6:19 a.m. PT (13:19 UTC) for launch of the Iridium OneWeb mission to a low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. A backup launch opportunity is available on Saturday, May 20 at 6:15 a.m. PT (13:15 UTC). The Falcon 9 first stage booster supporting this mission previously launched Sentinel-6 Michael Freilich, DART, Transporter-7, and seven Starlink missions. After stage separation, the first stage will land on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship, which will be stationed in the Pacific Ocean. A live webcast of this mission will begin about 15 minutes prior to liftoff.

The launches from Vandenberg have this problem (visibility). We are lucky that from Boca Chica looks much better.

The funny thing is that current technology does not allow us to take off when the weather conditions are not favorable. It's time to switch drives and stop building tampon-shaped spaceships.

I like how the mouthpiece had to state that he though he heard a launch abort announcement. Neither he nor we could hear clearly because he was busy flapping his gums instead of shutting up.

[UPDATED TIMES] Hey SpaceX, I have just gotten Starlink service - It hasn't been working in weeks. I have a ticket opened now for 11 (12) days, 3 (4) days since last response from Starlink. 8 days it took for me to be transferred to tech support after opening support ticket. No actions being taken or troubleshooting steps to take. What gives?
