What about amputees? Are they exempt from the 2 handed opening law?
@cody4061 Says:
It's kinda crazy to hear what's illegal in other places. Meanwhile my state is unoutlawing weapons we wasn't allowed to have my whole life, like switchblades and stilettos have been legal for probably close to 10 years now

Joerg!!! 🤫
@96Assassine Says:
I just learned to open most of my folding knives with one hand.
Which is very satisfying tbh.

@thor6544 Says:
Not legal anymore lol
@bloodlove93 Says:
to each their own, nice to see solutions to problems that shouldn't exist.
my only real gripe at all is, unfortunately since this is limited and you didn't even try to make it a German only thing where we have to use vpn to get one, i "fear" that most of these wont end up anywhere on earth where you legally need those qualities.... I'm betting most will end in America.

@manudemeter1330 Says:
i loooove to see you venture into knives ,it fits you absolutely perfectly😊
@OfficerD82 Says:
Too expensive and too small for my taste, other than that, cool knife.
@captainsewerrat Says:
Yes, and the "fast opening" also qualifies it as a Einhandmesser. And it will be confiscated. Will it be returned to you after a few months? Likely? Will you still have the headache and hassle? Yes. Legal on paper doesn't absolve you of potential issues. Especially if it has a finger groove/fuller like that in the blade. But sure.
@bh24x Says:
People, you are all totally forgetting that knives having to require two hands to open is literally ableist!
If somebody is missing a hand or arm, this is just going to get in their way! Especially if they work in any field that might require them to carry a folding knife as part of their utility tools...
.
But since alotments on a professional level can probably be made... It still would be hella hard to use most folding knives at all without help...
@HistoryOnTheLoose Says:
You're as American as you can get without owning an AR15.
Consider it.
@phpteacher Says:
350£ for a knife , nope
@comcyrose Says:
sieht Hammer aus, leider sehr teuer und bin nicht sicher ob die Polizisten es auch als Zweihandmesser sehen.
@sharrick1208 Says:
I would hate to live in Germany. No otf ots flippers or even a benchmade 940 so ridiculous. What about box cutters? Are they banned?

german shit laws drive the german mind to engineering wonders
@GnohmPolaeon.B.OniShartz Says:
Ohh, i get it now. I had a stupid folding bowie once that could do something like that.
The mass of the blade is so much greater that the handle? I bet you could almost pull the handle away from the blade in mid-air. Actually, that's kind of what's happening. 😊
@stephanm.932 Says:
Geil😮
@ix8750 Says:
These things are so polarizing for me. On one hand the innovation and design that goes into working around legal restrictions is awe inspiring but on the other hand, think of all the innovation and progress lost when brillant mechanical engineers are forced to solve problems in such a round about fashion where they are only allowed to skirt efficiency because of the law.

@maxuli21 Says:
Is it legal to carry a knife in public in germany? In Finland it's illegal, unless it's for work, but if you are going fishing or collecting mushrooms etc it's also legal but the law is kind of doesn't make sense. I never leave the house without a knife, I don't care about the fine and if they take it away, I'll just get a new one. Also I've never been stopped by the police in my life so it's very unlikely.
@Rope_sense Says:
Somit nicht mehr legal führbar ^^
@emanuelroth7960 Says:
Laws have really changed in Germany. There was a time when I was flipping balisongs in the hallway in school without getting in trouble by the teachers.
@Liberty4Ever Says:
Hey Joerg! When are you moving to a place that allows you the inalienable right to self defense? I live in Kentucky, in the US. There are no laws here preventing us from carrying any size knife, of any type, including switchblades. I carry a SOG Spec Elite II, a large heavy folding knife that I can flick open as quickly as a large switchblade. The only firearms laws are federal laws. I carry a 9 mm handgun every day. I could carry a rifle or shotgun.
@Liberty4Ever Says:
This looks like a knife that's designed to shave the very limit of the law by designing a one hand opening knife that meets the letter (if not the intent) of the law. Bureaucrats hate that and will rewrite the law.
@atom101pl Says:
Its kinda sad how almost everything is illegal in europe :/
@lukegallant4280 Says:
The fact that multiple govts around the world have arbitrarily decided that knives are some gow more dangerous if you can open them with one hand shows just how idiotic the people we allow to govern us are
@andreaskromp1066 Says:
Viel zu teuer für so wenig Messer.
Da gibt's für das Geld besseres .
Aber jeder hat ja seine Vorlieben 😉
Trotzdem gut gemachtes Video von Dir Jörg 👍
@pshadyyx Says:
My folding knife has a blade length of abou 12cm. It has an opening pin, which may be removed. If I remove the opening pin, the blade is difficult to open even with two hands. Does it make it legal to wear in Germany, even if I can sling open it with just one hand (one needs to practice the motion)?
@haju6417 Says:
I learned this technique with all of my two-handed knives. but with a resistance that can only be overcome with the right posture. No pressure on the knife (except when closing of course), but the right grip and swing angle.😅 So i'm illegal 😁
@JAB671 Says:
That LOOKS like a pocket knife I would expect him to be carrying. Nice.
