So, weird story about Matt and I.... My ex came to pick up my daughter about 8 months ago from my house. He bought another new vehicle and was excited to show me the pattern on the truck seats. He said, "I'm cool like M... Car..... now, right?" I was like, "Who?" "He's a Youtuber." I didn't know who that was. Then he proceeded to tell me that he believed Matt was my soulmate. I was like, "What!?!" Kind of shocking coming from a guy who still makes advances. He says, "You're a Baptist, right?" Yeah. "So is he, and he likes guns. You're always trying to get me to take you to the gun range. He would definitely teach you. And he's a doctor type like you, I believe he's a vet. He built his house just like you. He likes to start businesses like you do," and on and on and on. He was like, "He would definitely like you!" I thought wow, this guy sounds pretty awesome. And then he tells me he's married. So I was like Oh, okay, whatever, and I forgot about it.
Then about 3 months later, a friend told me he found the perfect guy for me. He says it's the guy who does the Abandoned Mansion videos. I had seen the compilation video at the end of the build, and I thought it was awesome, but I wasn't sure if other people were doing Abandoned Mansion videos also, so again, I didn't know who he was talking about.
A couple months later, I was watching YouTube and came across an Abandoned Resort video. My brother was watching also, and said, "OMG, you would be so happy with a guy like this. He's just like you!" I agreed. I've been single for a long time and felt inspired because I realized there were actually other people out there in the world like me. I don't get out much!
Then about 4 random videos in, I see the embroidery on Matt's seat and realize this is the guy everyone has been telling me about! But Meredith is Matt's soulmate. So I looked up soulmate and realized this is not what we are. Soulmates are different and complement each other. Matt and I are very much alike. So we may be twin flames, which you can only have 1 of, whereas soul mates you can have many. And anyone can be your twin flame, like your family member, a friend, etc.
So yeah, thanks for being you Matt, and giving me hope. I would do it with you...camping that is! :)

I think hiking in to camp is a great idea! I would definitely did something like that. A lot of youth groups, like Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts, might also find it useful. I remember having to do an overnight hike for a camping qualification as a teenager.

One time, i am the historical reconstructor, we were in the forest on a big game about 14th century. So it was windy in the evening, and then in the night it was 5 below zero, in 9th may. We slept in light tent, and had no warm clothes. So we slept in our armor) It was not nice, but intresting exp.

@MattCarriker if you see eyes reflecting back at you while shining your light at night, just keep this in mind… green/yellow means prey, red/orange means chamber a round.. Also, it’s kinda gross, but it works, but if you urinate in multiple areas in somewhat close proximity around your campsite, it wards off predatory animals during the night.
