I think it's a stretch calling the Revo 7 and its like 'pistol' crossbows simply because of their compactness, they really can't be shot one-handed which AFAIK is what defines a pistol (there are actual pistol crossbows which can be, single shot of course). Thanks to being over-engineered (no bad thing) the Revo is as heavy or heavier than many much larger 'tactical' crossbows (it's c. 1.5lb /0.75kg heavier than EK's own Cobra Adder for example). Not many reviewers comment on this - I was surprised by its weight when I got mine.

Bought this revo 7 came with 90lb limb and i purchased 120lb limb. This combined with bolts make it very expensive. I bought a compressed foam mat target and the bolts go too far into target you struggle to remove and it rips the flights. In the first seven shots i ruined 3 bolts and these bolts are around £28 for 10. There are no other bolts to fit this as no cheaper after market bolts on market, wish i had no bought it now , just something to bear in mind if thinking of buying

I have one of these with a spare magazine. Fantastic. Small moulded handle(s) on the mag would make it a single-handed magazine change, an idea, but probably a little pedantic. Great crossbow, accurate and also looks the business!

Does any one with legal knowledge know which states in the USA it is legal to drive in a car with one of these loaded? i.e. is it considered an engaged weapon because the arrows sit on the fire arm, i.e. rest on the firing arm but not cocked? For example would the Mey interceptor meet the full definition of a non firearm weapon that is not loaded and arrow not engaged since it uses a real magazine with spring loading? basically can this be used for self defense in any state in the USA or is it just a big home defense toy?
