That epoxy goes hard in the manner of literal seconds
@leviyates5266 Says:
Just saying yall needed to clean the holes before applying apoxy cause all its attached to is dust now not the rock wall
@RoyCarter-o5n Says:
Run rebar from top to bottom on each side, welding them to the corners of the rungs.
@JonielVillafuerte Says:
Should have drilled that with an angle maybe 15 degrees
@starboy32 Says:
11:40 is givin me x files vibes like some black sludge is gunna come squirting out from the rock and all of a sudden Matt's eyes cloud over to black LOL
@SKITZIZZZAKINGDON Says:
drill a hole on the opposite side and put a long loop bold in, and use a forse meter between the loop bold anker point and the new step to test the pull forse. i think your just fine.Matt. it wont pull out that easy.
@AngryPainting Says:
Super safe enough.

You need a small general store, ice, beer, soda, aspirin etc, etc, i own a resort, general store is a necessity. You will find that you will stock more and more stuff as time goes by, ice is a huge seller. I own a small fishing resort in Cali.
@vikingryder2051 Says:
Why not try to use some type of rope ladder but instead of wood use an iron steel cable

@birchthebirch4593 Says:
2pt epoxy cement needs a dust free moisture free hole and its solid as ffffff, in the application probably fine....right ?
@chrisanderson9856 Says:
Why use a 3 lb hammer when a 10 lb sledge will work much better??
@forddabomboutdoors9819 Says:
Need an air hammer
@palmon1 Says:
Loved the narration at the beginning and end
@DavidLopez-pw7gp Says:
That a7 stuff is just a pain it's ither use the whole tube at once or buy replacement tips for them that is what we do or use a difrent adhesive
@scottspann8624 Says:
Leave the runs it will work fine
@keltynsanders-gm6uu Says:
You gentlemen could be OSHA’s wet dream! 😂
@SA-5247 Says:
Get a rope and fix it at an angle in the hole. You hang onto the rope as you walk up the steps then you’ll have zero pressure being forced backwards.
@thenonfarm9575 Says:
You have the ribs on the rebar and that should keep it from pulling out thru the on concrete epoxy you put in.
@grahamnightingale9513 Says:
I don't know if anyone has mentioned it of not Matt but Co2 can easy build up in a hole like that plus other natural gasses (not Taco smells the other natural gasses!) So look at some kind of air pump or extraction if you are going deeper and struggling, digging and lifting etc. Just a safety thought!
Love the content and the guns keep it coming! :)
@levihiggins1372 Says:
Ahh. Rocks and ladders. Pioneers traversed the entire country side riding those bad boys.
@razorstrike6 Says:
Darn if the order number is accurate I was only 113 away from the 1mil order for my 2nd order from Bunker branding. Love you and your videos/ views on content and family Matt. I don't really care about the number, but the interesting culmination of how the people I enjoy coming together supporting each other and loving the community that supports them. God bless from the Young that are on the cusp of being "old"
@Kemp1730 Says:
❤❤❤❤
@lukytrukin3497 Says:
Angle the holes down then install rebar then bend the handle straight so if u do lean back u won't be leaning at the same angle as u installed the rebar....so it would looks like this from the side angle _/ but upside down
@spunn_co Says:
Those are never going to pull out they are 100% fine
@adamswan3991 Says:
They ain't coming out my dude
@michaeldart5522 Says:

@MitchellFillyaw Says:
Sink it in 6 inches and pump it full of glue... got it 😂
@savage6394 Says:
You have nothing to worry about with the rings. They will never come out.
@johnmackelvey Says:
I would love to see camera footage from inside the cave during a heavy rainstorm
@ernierodriguez9086 Says:
So let me get this straight.... You said you're going to shove something hard into a hole 6 inches deep and fill it up with special glue 👀.
@lukedawson7321 Says:
Plot twist the desperado narrator voice is matts actual voice ✌🏽
@larryjameson1653 Says:
OMG Really you need a bigger bit
@natejanke3907 Says:
I wonder if the intro audio is AI.
@AMNEZ1A Says:
Wouldn't it be better to spray paint the ladder steps bright yellow or orange, makes it easier to find the steps when using them
@jacobs.9230 Says:
If you are worried about them pulling out couldnt you weld a piece of flat angle iron to the side tieing the rungs to eachother?
@jacobs.9230 Says:
YEAH HILTI anchors website says to go 1/16" - 1/8" bigger than the stud/anchor for epoxies
@alman-world Says:
Epoxy does not compress - at all!!
You found out.
@flat---line Says:
Those are 100% never coming out.
@FeelingLucky246 Says:
PLEASE BE A GUEST ON SAFETY THIRD PODCAST WILLIAM OSMAN YOU SPOKE TO HIM BEFORE
@21hatwell Says:
THEY USE THAT GLUE TO INSTALL ROOF BOLTS IN MINES. ITS NOT GOING ANYWHERE IF YOU DID IT RIGHT
@zak-a-roo264 Says:
You are over thinking it.....the WORST epoxy , properly mixed, makes up for any idiots questionable job quality....even you guys!!! That shit ain't coming out!
@ShaneSaxson Says:
Trust me when I say. That epoxy won’t fail.
@ShaneSaxson Says:
You can do it!! I would put some ventilation down there.
@chadro_g1145 Says:
Get some round tubing and then run down the inside of the steps, up in each corner to make the most contact on the sides and front face. Then clamp them together if you don’t want to weld them. With that tubing connecting them all together, regardless of the attachment method, it’s got to help and gives another surface to hold onto.
@Bexar2204 Says:
10/10 intro and the video didn´t disappoint as well
@Grey-t1p Says:
Skip a few years into the future: “Let me show you how we turned this cave into a fallout shelter.”
@HillbillyUp Says:
I love the voice over, cave steps, just use D rings and chain so it is easy and will be safe. Another great video Matt.
@butter7734 Says:
Just weld a straight piece of rebar on the corners of the ladder.
