I’m into UX design and I find your channel quite interesting. I’d prefer to work at an established business (with a mentor) and then strike out on my own after a few years.

I love startup. At a startup, you just feel more involved. Like your work is just more valuable than a larger company who can just dump you because a director decides to do a reorganization.

I am working for a stable company. It’s a private small-mid size company owned by the CEO. The dev team was 7 people when I started 8 months ago. We are at 12 devs now. I can see my self staying here for 5+ years while starting to do freelance work on the side. I agree with you that what I do has much more impact. I create a feature and it is used the next week. I love being apart of a smaller team. I have the opportunity to explore what I am interested in. I am teaching myself ML to incorporate it into our application.

I got a off topic question, but input from anyone would be much appreciated!!! I recently just got accepted into Fullstack Academy's online bootcamp, but I'm kind of on the fence about it because of all the mixed opinions online , the cost of tuition, and this program isn't going be in person, but fully online. Been studying code for the past 3 and a half months, should I just continue self teaching or do you going to a bootcamp is vital? What's the value you think you gain from going to a bootcamp vs. not going to one. Thank you! P.S love you're videos man keep dropping gems :)

I want to be able to work from home plus I love to program. It is fun for me. Irritating at times but fun. In 5 years, I plan on working somewhere at a stable company (as well as have my side hustle(s)) and living and working overseas.
