A lot of the older popcorn had asbestos in....hopefully yours was after that 'trend' and you do not now have a toxic building due to the asbestos fibers. How do I know this....our condo has that, so the ceilings are off limits to touch or do anything that might cause the ceiling to degrade/come off. ie just new paint on top and that's it for our ceiling without a major mess to remove.

You couldn't put septic. on .2 acres. Not enough room for the house, tank, and leach field. And putting in septic in the Hill Country is an expensive enterprise that involves drilling and blasting usually.
