Pew die pie I grew up watching you since 2012, even before the Operation Simulator and I just wanted to come back to your channel and I see this video, genuinely as an artist this is just the most inspiring video I have seen in god knows how many years. It’s so beautiful to come back to the same channel that made me laugh and gave me memories when I was a child and now your doing inspiring videos like this. I’m an artist like I said and an animator and I’d highly suggest you do an animation version of this video, that would be so cool.
Also the thing you said about ‘now im older I feel like it’s easier to get better faster’ is honestly just something everyone needs to hear. A lot of people think as you get older you lose out more opportunities but sometimes it can create more. Thank you so much for creating this video :)

Never seen your channel (though obviously I know who you are) and I wanna second something you said: when you're an adult, you're better at learning things. For me I wanna learn to draw right now, but before that it was languages. Everyone says, "wow, it's hard to learn because I'm an adult." Bullsh!t, kids suck at languages. It takes them years to start speaking, even longer to speak properly, and then you need years of education to refine it. As an adult, you can read. Instead of intuitively picking up grammar, you can read about it and then try to Intuit it moving forward, knowing a little bit about what that grammatical idea entails. You can learn to read and write a new language fairly quickly, about 5 years for a solid level of fluency (and you're probably generally fluent long before that) instead of taking the better part of a decade to get to your first actual book. When it comes to learning new skills, adults > children.

Growing up and throughout school I loved art and my art teachers would constantly push me but as I progressed the more I realized I hated I couldn’t create what I truly wanted and i constantly compared myself to others to the point to where I just fully gave up and when I do draw it’s usually out of pure boredom and it’s more fun that way

just earlier of today I just started drawing because I realized I've made many enough novels and time for me to decide to make some Mangas about it. I kept hiring some friends of mine to work for the manga but they're really hard to manage than I tought. so as of now Im borrowing my friend's Traditional & Digital drawing set so I can try for 1 day. and boy, it's hard asf. but bcs I saw this Im gonna buy my own set tomorrow and do the same thing as you are. For me, id say i'm probably about 30% of the way there to being able to fully render and make beautiful posters, though this is digitally, not physical paper and pen. I like that you didn't pick up art books too early tbh, because it might make you too caught up with "rules" of "getting it right", and if you haven't done much drawing that can be really disheartening when you struggle. I actually think obsessing over one thing and focus on getting confident with drawing that one thing is good, because you need to build confidence to be able to stick with the process, because like you said: "progress is not a linear thing", and trying to do too much at once too early on might just discourage you instead of being actually helpful.
