You did so well!! As someone who went from paper to a iPad as well it can be rough and uncomfortable. But you kept going! Keep up the amazing work! I recommend playing with prospective more a how shadows form from different perspectives when you’re more comfortable as well! These can be started with different shapes them moved to characters or backgrounds :D
@UrLostPajamas Says:
mangaka pewds when?
@yousif2712 Says:
As a person who doesn't know how to draw at all. One thing I noticed in this video, that people who draw judge themselves waaay to hard. Some of the art he did that was "bad" I thought was amazing lol. I suppose this comes with every profession, the better you get the more flaws you see.
@Ur_trash- Says:
We love you pewdiepie, im 17 now been watching for years and I can say that these ppl hating on you are not your real fans. The art was amazing ❤❤

I think a big part of my love for art is how it can foster community, but you don't need community to enjoy it. My fondest memories of childhood were away from confusing social groups in my room drawing silly little characters I imagined in my head or doodling on a notebook I snuck out to recess in my big coat. but then my fondest memories of adolescence are those solitary moments combined with drawing on shared canvases with my friends and making art they hang on their walls. you don't have to of course, but I recommend joining some art communities. (this is directed at PewDiePie and any other artists who happen upon the comment) finding art friends. whether that be joining a discord or meeting people in real life or going to clubs or events. you get great advice; you get to give advice and generally support each other. though there are still controversies that happen within the art world, I find that the majority of the art community I interact with has been extremely kind and patient, and helpful. if you want to know where I'd recommend starting, I would say local art groups, classes, and art YouTubers. my favorite art YouTubers are Drawfee, and their discord is delightful.

I love that someone with 110 million subs makes a video about drawing anime. Anime really has gotten more popular over the years.
@geckoontherun4984 Says:
I expected more, you basically haven't learned anything.
Color, hair, all those details are irrelevent if you don't understand how the shape is done, you won't be able to hide it between those colors.
Focus on the academic drawing, consider visiting a tutor.
The anatomy in your drawings is just terrible, invest into that, don't do what you would like to do, do the stuff that makes you tired and uncomfortable.
Do sketches of people from life, 50 per day. In a year you'll be a different person, your skills will grow dramatically.
@bigboxofstuff Says:
It's never wasted time, it's self improvement. You are drawing better then I can so keep it up. Never thought I would be giving encouragement to Pewdiepie.

@devongold2244 Says:
It's a challenge in drawing to keep the same energy as in earlier, experimental work. there's a spontaneity and roughness that slowly disappears as we try to attain more "perfect" looking work. My art journey has led me back to that raw feeling of the Artist on a Quest energy, and it was exactly by exploring new subject matter with new materials and techniques. You're on the right track and it's super normal to be dissatisfied for about 60%-80% of the time, but achieving those few pieces that you connect to is all worth it. You learn to feel better about the dissatisfaction and just plough through to the next 'masterpiece' you create that makes you remember all over again what it is you do this for and why you keep doing it.
@jeremygodwin8701 Says:
Your a professional artist
