"For almost a decade, I have been designing space construction machines, space ports and drones to help form a space construction industry." Neat. So has my nephew, with his space legos. He is almost ready to start playing Space Engineers.

Why would you just make a pipe that has ridges as part of its structure instead of this half-assed add-on?

Cargo cults is a really interesting topic. I don't understand why I never came across it in any documentary. The time I saw the term was in Kaki King's song "Cargo Cult". Very interesting indeed!

I really wish I did not understand the most basic laws of physics. Life would be a lot more interesting.

Musk is so fall of pooh it's totally unreal. Everything he has said regarding space X and Tesla has been a time limited mind bent dream that never comes to pass. Why do peeps still believe what comes out of his gob. Keep jolly as the joke that is Musk continues to live in a dream.

I find myself coming to teems with the idea that humanity will remain Earth-bound. Science stations in space are one thing, cities/colonies are another, going interstellar another nother. Probably we should concentrate on preserving and enjoying Earth.
@Bzuhl Says:
At least find funny acronyms FFS. A big part of the game is to end up with words that sounds good for marketing or that are provocatively memotechnical (for nternal stuff).

Here we are 3 years later and Starship still hasn't got to space.

I did take a drink when told to. All the acronyms hurt me. I had a 1L bottle. I have no more (IHNM). Don’t. Bad idea (BI). Don’t trust a YouTuber with your health when he gives you a drinking game (DTAYWYHWHGYADG).

What's scarier.. that this guy can tell you about his space station builder with a straight face.. or.. those people that watch this guy and say "wow!"? Even with a very limited intelligence red flags should be flying.. but he raised $1,000,000.00!!! If this was all taking place in a 3rd grade classroom, during a recess, it might make more sense.. but grown adults looking at this in awe.. come on. The only acronym he didn't use is "WTF!"

Part of the reason the name changed is that there already was a "Gateway Foundation". It's a drug rehab operation in Illinois. Also, their website hasn't been updated since 2022. And apparently nobody responded to the plea to design the interior for free.

Another thing worth mentioning: Place yourself before a wall design from the 60ties and put a model of a rocket from the 60ties next to you - and then talk about future space stations. Equals: I have nothing to show you, not even a model of something new. But look! I've got a fancy T-shirt and can talk as if there was a futuristic manufacturing plant behind me! For your comments on Star Ship and Raptor engines: In the two years following, they had 195 Raptor 2 engines (39 per fight) working their way up to orbit. Without hickups, a real life booster catching after flight and in the most recent flight they even demonstrated their capability to relight the engines in zero gravity, making permission for stable orbits possible. They did have something to show something back then, and they do even more now. Makes your comments age like old milk.
@TerezaTaylor-l8f Says:
Why does the guy have a Saturn 5rocket with him. Must be compensating for the size of his imaginary space station.

IKEA space stations.
@brianstewart23 Says:
The guy is correct in stating that Starship will allow for massive structures to be built in space. 200 tons to orbit for under $100/lb will open many doors unavailable to us today.
@fredherman5234 Says:
What happen to your program, you gave up for lack of support?
@spencerthu2956 Says:
I like this guy! We need more people like him out there pushing for our failing space program to start building a true space station and bases on the moon,mars and even Ceres! We havent done shit in 55 years+ !

@clevelandexplorer2221 Says:
I found the names crap too, and fantastic imagination but all on paper and untested. I figured this guy had the background and proposing :s yes the gravity wouldn't allow for such boarding, more like a lift would be needed for safety and such. I could however imagine lots of tubes with a side perspective of those Stanley knife blades, which could be stacked as a tube and reconstructed as a (mathematical term forgotten) circle made of lots of straight edges. I'm not sure how structural that would make it though, as it'll have pressure and I think the weak spots in the joints not tubes. Also the machines wouldn't be able to fabricate the pieces but attach them, they can't make a damn smelting mill in space I'm sure. Even with a massive power draining induction melter or nuclear something or other, its too cold out there and idk if matter could even contaminate it. It does seem too far fetched though. I wonder how 1/4 piped would fare :o also the recent titanic sub would need to be investigated and implemented here, as it seems the same construction and questionable beaurocracy
@Tagurrit Says:
Maybe the bricks from the dirt removed from space will pay for the whole thing???? 😂😂😂😂
