He thought outside the box and that's where he ended up
@bakonfreek Says:
Goddamned Disney movies and strategically placed sleeper triggers (now I have that Under The Sea song from The Little Mermaid stuck in my head).
@joshb1137 Says:
Bro just couldn't hlep himself throwing some shade at Elon still 🤣
@MartyCorsacFox Says:
This was the last non-Elon non-Trump video blunderf00l ever made. RIP.
@beeble2003 Says:
6:14 "This prediction of what happened to the Titan: [...] a pinhole leak, which would rapidly widen"
9:03 "If you look at the rings they recovered, they're completely sheared off. [...] This is such an absolute no-brainer that this is how it failed"
You don't even realise that you're saying it's an "absolute no-brainer" that the actual failure mechanism was completely different to the one you predicted. No worries, just show your pressure washer not cutting plastic, again. That'll completely prove your point!
@stevelehel3625 Says:
So, I understand that the Titan had some sort of acoustic hull monitoring equipment installed and, has recorded previous dives with anomalies. Doesn't sound like he was interested in analyzing that data. Defiantly dream drunk in love with his baby.
@timmarshall2062 Says:
great show you nailed it all lol
@6teeth Says:
We call ourselves the " space x " of the ocean.
Well, how many Space x rockets have blown up, I ask. LOL
Not the best comparison.
@ВиталийСергеевич-х4м Says:
the hatch cover and the hull are lying together, they were not blown away by the explosion or carried away by the current. it feels like they were just lowered to the bottom like a prop. and everything else is just a staged performance.
@SpartanJoe193 Says:
Lesson: Always prapre for when shit to go horribly wrong.
@carlrodd8510 Says:
musk won't even ride his crew dragon let alone his starship vehicle. bezos and Branson rode their space toys
@NorthernWindNut Says:
He looks like Father Ted
@GREENmoneyPARTY2026 Says:
Unchecked narcissism. This man will be remembered as a complete POS!
@Winasaurus Says:
Just felt like leaving a comment that this is the most recent video that isn't about Trump/Musk and it's like 8 months old. I used to just skip the Musk uploads to the more science-focused "busted" ones, but now it's literally every single upload is about Musk or Trump. I guess if that's where the views are then get that bag, I suppose, but definitely not my thing. Only so many ways to say "this guy is dumb and has bad ideas".
@Chris.Davies Says:
If you ever saw the horrendous footage of these idiots connecting the titanium end cap to the carbon fibre barrel, you instantly knew the project was run by abject morons, who knew nothing about physics, or glue, or building things.
They were smearing the stuff on using a spatula - in the exact same way my wife ices a cake.
This was obviously a method which would doom the craft, even if the rest of the design wasn't badly flawed from the start.
If I knew this, as a non-engineer - what does this say about the actual engineers who worked on it?
@morphman86 Says:
I really don't understand the fascination with building in weird, unattainable areas. Why are the billionaires so excited to build on other planets, under the sea and underground, when human habitation takes up less than 5% of the usable surface of the planet as it is?
It's the infrastructure to feed us that takes up space, not our living and working space. With the vast majority of that being taken up by grazing space for livestock. Something like a third of the usable surface of the planet is just grazing space for cows, sheep and pigs. Replace any dairy product and meat for one day out of the year for everyone on the planet, and we'd get enough land back to build homes for at least 10 million people, and won't even impact the ecology at all.
And that's not even counting the savings we could make on eliminating food waste! If we went net zero on food waste, we'd have at least twice that!
@ashkansayadi Says:
I made them CIP press for meking non sintered ceramic powder forms for my bachelor teases.
And and I Intentionally overloaded it safely and broke it,
because it hadn't any life for its chamber with pressures ten times of this titan pressure vessel.
I made zirconia alumina crucibles like Dyson's and kiln furniture.
They asked me to make randoms and I dismantled all project and Buryed it with me.
I used multiple layers chambers
With differential pressure,
And each layer of each intersection chamber had backup outside pressure for it's inner section chamber, and at the same time because of different diameter and surface area e Enhancing pressure and reducing flow and displacement.
In rubber mold I had 40,000 bar easily,
And it broke at 120,000 ish bar which my gauges couldn't catch farther than that.
I had a hair crack and it squirted fastest tiniest amount of oil and water like instant rainbow all over lab room . And no visible marks of projectile on polycarbonate shield ,only oil film spray.
Oil injection dangers was more Susceptible.
@joshgiesbrecht Says:
What upsets me most is that it failed so catastrophically fast that he didn’t even have enough time to realize how stupid he was.
@AflacMan13 Says:
Thr problem with what you're saying here Thunderf00t, is Rush didn't just "not wait for regulationa to catch up" he flat out violated the LAW and ignored them, and it got him and his passengers k¡||ed.
E|○n however is working WITH the regulators, trying to HELP THEM find ways to streamline the regulatory process, and make it all go FASTER, while still also being SAFE.
Rush was a f○○|.
E|○n is at least smart enough to put his pants on the right way around. 😂
@themonsterbaby Says:
Damn dude, 6 months just to find a video that isn't about Musk? 🤣🤣😬😬

I genuinely feel so bad for his son. He did not want to go & he’d still be here if his dad didn’t guilt him into it.
@Five_y_kay Says:
Damn tf, u make a fair point.
@NoAlias1113 Says:
Jesus. Imagine. Let’s go to the bottom of the ocean using glue.
@julianmet1070 Says:
That inner flange is so this how crazy where they
@julianmet1070 Says:
I want to be remembered for building people houses where they live happily ever after ,so far i have done that
@radiationking9398 Says:
I wish I was in that sub. Implosion must be an increadibly fast way to die.
@lasarith2 Says:
Actually james cameron , said the glass perspex wouldn’t fail , it was the glue that held the ship together with the carbon fibre ( both) that would have caused the implosion , there’s an hour long video interview of him discussing it .
@lasarith2 Says:
Before this , I actually researched for non metallic compression materials , carbon fibre was actually behind Kevlar for Young’s modulus , couldn’t find anything better then Kevlar, and that’s not great for compression.
@tomporter8849 Says:
Interesting video
@TheBarrwen Says:
Valuable information here, one can say….lessons
@waterwomaninFL Says:
Holy crap! Maybe I shouldn’t of watched this at midnight after I ate a gummy. I never thought about this but all of it so correct. Musk is it risking his life, but Stanton did. Mind-boggling. TF you always make me think outside the box And change my perspective on topics.
@paulhowse6169 Says:
More lifeboats wouldn’t have helped on the Titanic. They had 20 but only 18 were launched successfully, they ran out of time with the last two. So how would more help?
@JT-si6bl Says:
5 inches of spin carbon fiber... no cross weave... that alone seems insane.
@Motocentrick Says:
I watched an interview with one of the people that jad previously took a dive in oceangate and they said the thing made a huge cracking sound. He was told it was normal...
@daveroche6522 Says:
At least the arrogant richguy actually boarded his vessel - will Shovelface Musk be aboard any of his eh, 'rockets to Mars'? Thought not.
@Thenadmonk32 Says:
I wouldn’t see his coughing I would see him more like a food purée machine
@tybrady4598 Says:
So much arrogance! Too bad others had to die with him.
@WalkingDday Says:
Will Musk’s space ships be crude or crewed?
@ariw9405 Says:
You’re remembered for the rules you break because they are usually catastrophic!
@danielgrayling5032 Says:
Starship launches are test runs to refine design. No one dies because no one is on board.
@jordan-mn6yy Says:
ppl are uneducated about what carbon fiber is, they think it's some magical material, when all it really is is just a fancy word for PLASTIC
