SpaceX needs to prevent a likely destruction of SN4 on the launchpad. The problem is exhaust going 2 miles/second hitting the ground with no place to go but back up between the raptor exhausts. The ground pressure (and temperature)will climb to incredible pressure as the exhaust decelerates from 3000 meters/second to zero in 10 meters. That is acceleration v**2= 2*acc*distance or acc=3000**2/(2*10)= 45,000 G. The force required to accelerate the exhaust mass at 45,000 G equals the ground pressure. This ground pressure will divert exhaust sideways at the ground and with nowhere to go inside the outer ring of raptors but up.
I suggest SN4 being tested for a split second on the launch pad with some raptors off to verify what actually happens. If the exhaust blow back from all Raptors lit is going to be destructive, then there are several corrective options to prevent a huge setback.

Elon Musk, his companies, I love you all! You should have made a magnetic rail tunnel embedded in the earth at a 50 degree angle of exit about 7 miles long, and you could launch all the fossil fuels into space using less than a third of the fuel,(will only be needed for vector control and stabilizing) which is one of the primary expenses, using solar energy, transmitted from space using massive mirror arrays located in the north and south pole that reflect and focus massive amount of solar energy into orbital generators that transmit power back to earth via tight microwave beam, routed then via cables to the world.(transatlantic cable etc) You then can modularly launch humans , materials , fuel into space safely using the sun. It would be far safer and efficient and better in every way. You can launch modular massive 3d printer arrays that can land on a planet and establish a setup for landing and housing before you even arrive. Using a simple tapered cone for insertion landing on a pad, like a mating fit would eliminate many issues. It would be a simple frame construct sleeve affixed to a landing platform created as well by the 3d printers. I love you all, but the most ironic thing has occurred. Your companies literally have every technology to do this , and are leading most, yet you are choosing archaic methods over reasoning and higher scope logic, risking lives and material and wasting time. Is it oversight, I imagine so, or you are already building one. These are the only two options. So, you have to be able to see in time if you really want to mastermind how to travel in space. Otherwise you just waste it. The 60's HArp project proved you can do this as well, yet with a magrail tunnel, it could launch everything, safely, humans and all, using the sun, using fossil fuels where they actually won't cause us harm; in space.
If anyone is presuming to judge me, just know that Yale and Standford representatives came out to me when I was 15 to test me because of what happened in HighSchool. They said this, not me, that I am a creative genius off the charts. A borderline genius with numbers and such, and I have excellent coordination, which effects more than just the body. I have already created the fastest form of human powered transportation, which is a new form of bicycle that has a 1.5 times gain over any other bicycle or human powered set up , period. I also just hacked my own cooling technique in which one of the presidents of the company that I acquired certain components from contacted me because no one has ever used their technology like I have, and I am achieving superior results all across the board, efficiency, safety, performance.
I really hope all you arrogant naysayers wake up and learn how to find true masterminds, and not just assume things so much, BYE!

Awesome Rockets! Awesome Reusability! And Also Awesome Payloads! Great Work SpaceX Team For Your 10th Reflown Falcon 9!
@markfernandes2467 Says:
Well, that's 10 then. Doubt they will "retire" this booster, although it's pretty historic. Guess they'll just launch it until it fails, see how far they can push things. WHat would be interesting to know is how many engines and other parts are still original (if any). Also, costs of refurbishment and turnaround. Only by knowing these metrics can we really work out just how much money is being saved atm through "reusability". To build one F9 and fly it on its maiden flight + 3 re-use flights (so 4 flights total) would, I estimate, cost the same as building 2 "single-use" F9's. (so 2 flight total).
After those first four, you just add 3 additional flights (reusable version) for the cost of 1 (disposable version). If this assumption is about right, then a 10 flight booster like this, would have cost the same as 4 Disposable missions. So only 40% the cost of doing the same 10 missions in disposable config. I think that's about the best case, so maybe we could just say 50% .
If that's correct then Spacex just cut the cost per KG to LEO in half over the lifetime of a booster.
If the booster can continue to 22 flights, the cost per KG falls another 10% odd to 40% (8
/22) then (12/34), (16/46), (20/58) etc. this way you can get to 1/3 (33%) the cost of disposable rockets Although you do hit diminishing returns pretty quickly. Still, the F9 is already the cheapest rocket to build and fly (disposable) and bringing even that cost down by 66% means it becomes at least 10 x cheaper kg to LEO. Maybe as much as 15x cheaper than anyone else currently.
I would call a 10 x reduction in the cost of anything revolutionary. And now I think Spacex can now claim that's what they've achieved with the f9 program. So congrats to them.
To do better than even this, they need that second stage to do the same. Therefore, Starship needs to take over, as F9 potential is largely maxed out now, save any future cost reduction in turnaround costs they can eek out.
