Anyway, the reason is that misinformation is by definition false information. Its not about what someone decides, but about whether it has a value of truth. Your argument kind of fall flat, because you're implying that the claims of misinformation is part of propaganda and misinformation. While people who know the difference would never claim that google, elon or especially the us government is reliable sources.
